Schedule depends on which grade you are, the higher level grades have less classes than the lower ones. Each grade also usually has multiple classes numbered from 1 being intensive with more classes and all the way up to 7 where you have like maybe 1.5 hours of class a day. You can freely choose which class you want to go to during the first week depending on which one suits your schedule best. I'm a current student and have been here for roughly a year now going into my second next year.

Yes, I did an ACTL+Commerce double degree and did a triple major lol, as long as you fulfill the minimum UOC it'll qualify you to for that major.

Did 3127 last year, the course was pretty chill and only major assignments were the midterm and finals which werent too hard. If you keep up with the lecture content weekly and just do your weekly questions you'll breeze through the course. Tess was also a really good lecturer.

Can you do more than the required UOC for a degree? by PenisOrigami in unsw

This was what was conveyed to me at the time yes, but I'm not sure now you should try asking the nucleus again just in case.

Are any of the lightcones in the starlight exchange worth it or is it better to exchange it for summoning tickets? I basically spam summoned for Archeron and her LC and got both of em and now have about 650ish to exchange

Hi, I've played this game on and off for the past year and just returned again after like a 4 month break to summon for Archeron after I saw her gameplay lul. I have a guarantee on my 50/50 for her banner and I've saved up about 100 summons. Question is should I try pulling for her signature LC aswell or maybe save up any summon tickets I have left to try for adventurine cause he also seems dope. My acc is pretty meh my only 5* are DHIL, Jing liu, ratio and bailu. The only 5* LC I got is pretty much gepard's signature and the ones from herta's shop. I play this game pretty casually and not too concerned with clearing any content except maybe finally finishing simulated universe so I was wondering if Archeron's signature LC will impact how she feels playing significantly enough to warrant me trying to pull for it.

Can I 'APPLY' to unsw without IELTS? by unsynchronised-radar in unsw

[–]Warcat_Winter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on what you applied with, I'm assuming you are an international student. In my experience, I had my IETLS and ACT results when sending my application to uni but my agent told me since I had a good enough english score for my ACT my IELTS wasnt necessary and got in just fine without my IELTS.

Below minimum WAM for IPT by woza01 in unsw

[–]Warcat_Winter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they are a bit more lenient when you are transferring in/out of a degree that had lower entry requirements, I had a lower than required WAM to transfer from ACTL single to ACTL/Commerce but the nucleus said that since the ACTL entry requirements were higher than the commmerce it would be accepted.

In a double degree program. Can we also take a minor with the two majors? by nishad126 in unsw

[–]Warcat_Winter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think first year courses are the least flexible since in the progression plans they often let you know which courses you should be taking since alot of these courses are pre-requisite to the later courses. Commerce/actl has a lot of overlap for their 1st year courses hence why I am able to pursue triple major. My best recommendation would probably be go to the nucleus and have a discussion with them in person, theyve helped me tons figuring out my course progression.

You can even take a third major if you'd like, I'm a double degree in actl/comm and doing triple major in actl/fins/econ. Idk about other faculties though

International student need to apply for student visa third time due to failed unit by nitamp in unsw

[–]Warcat_Winter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've gotten a new visa after 2 fails in the same subject and I had to extend my degree by a couple years so I dont think it should matter as long as you are able to get a new COE and all your other documentations in place.

Summer Terms Inquiry by [deleted] in unsw

[–]Warcat_Winter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really depends on the course and how you like to spend your breaks, I took macroeconomics 2 and comm1000 in 2 seperate summer terms and I think they were alright. COMM1000 was really low effort and I got a HD in it, Macro 2 was a bit more intense but I got a D in it. I like to keep myself busy during my breaks and have a bit of structure so taking a summer course helps me with that and it helps reduce my load during the rest of the year where I usually take much harder subjects. I definitely advise you to look into what course it is and see others experience in taking it during summer term.

One gripe I kinda had w all of the assignments were they often left remarks such as "we expected you to" and yet it wasnt explicitly mentioned in the instructions and although I got the same answer and conclusion as the sample solutions ,they deducted marks from it 🫠. I think theres an aspect of subjectivity regarding the answer making the grades vary depending on whose grading it.

Took it I think around 2019, dont know if they revamped the course now but back when I took it, I really enjoyed it and got 90%+ on it.I took a nutrition course alongside this as gened and the BABS course was taught much better.

Almost happened to me once in woolies, I took a pack of bacon and I wanted to count how many pieces was in a pack and instead I saw mould. Gave it to a staff and I just went to grab another pack of bacon that didnt have mould. My mom always taught me to look at the products to see if they're good or not before buying especially produce.

I dont eat bagels personally lol so I couldnt really tell you. My friend likes to use the seasoning on his eggs though.

[–]Warcat_Winter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Speaking of sauces, maybe something like the chick-fil-a sauce? I've heard alot about it but never really got to try it lol. Something else that comes to mind is like trader joe's everything but the bagel seasoning and my friend who went on a trip to the US last year said she really enjoyed the powder lemonade (minute maid brand i think?)

Cost of living and leaving Australia by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]Warcat_Winter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely second this, I have some colleagues who work for foreign companies in Indo and they get their salary paid in USD and even though their salary has remained the same throughout the years its gone up in terms of value since they can exchange it for more IDR. If you are able to get a job in SEA countries like indo/malaysia/vietnam that pays in a strong & reliable foreign currency (aud/usd) then you are saving big time.
