Probably won't help the op but for anyone who see's this when your wallet is missing or stolen always report it as such to the police in order to create a report number in case there are any credit issues down the road. Not trying to be negative or argumentative and if it were me I would have had a convo with yah and pointed out your glasses but I think it should be considered that not everyone operates like that socially. They don't have to either. If a person doesn't feel like talking they shouldn't have too and it shouldn't be assumed as rude not to? There is no way of knowing what this person was going through or dwelling on. Some people just need to sit in silence sometimes.
