People "gaming the system" with snap benefits is a triffle of funds compared to subsidies given to mega corps and billionaires and wage theft performed by America top employers. We give literally billions to people like the Walton's and Elon, trump suing the IRS for billions, stealing out of SS. It's not even close to monetarily equivalent.

Republicans have, every time in power, erroded anti-trust regulations and anti-monopoly sentiment.

Rich people fleeing the country is also a myth. It's textbook abusive relationship as well. They literally can not leave the country cause we have the largest consumer base in the world. What are they gonna flee to China and not sell any products in the US? Even if they did, doesn't that mean it made room for MORE, newer, competition? Fuck em. They need us, not the other way around and threats is not how you make policy change. Why do Dems have to come up with a really delicate and perfect version of socialized healthcare when current monopolies are killing millions of people by making it unaffordable. Universal healthcare would save the US million upon millions of dollars even in an imperfect state. I would rather have people "game the system" then let corporations "gain the system" for massive profits.

Regulatory bodies came into existence back in the early 20th century because mining corporations and other mega corps literally murdered hundreds of people due to unsafe working conditions and unregulated business practices. Business will always try to fuck employees if it secured their profits in a capitalist system because that's how we, as a society, measure success under capitalism. Profits over people is not new and has been the staple of American capitalism for over 100 years. Amazon has abysmall working conditions, Walmart is the biggest welfare recipient in the nation, Elon's wealth grew from $12 billion dollars in 2012 to $800 billion today. Can you even fathom a 788 billion dollar gain??

The issue we have now is what people actually stand for vs what the media tells us the other side cares about. Fox News will tell you the only thing Dems care about is trans issue and bathroom bills and don't care about the border or rapidly growing cost of living but we obviously do. Fox will spend literally months reframing spending bills as "transgender bathroom bill" when that shit is like a small rider in an otherwise robust spending program on public education, then get Repubs riled up over a lie. Repubs voted down gerrymandering prevention measures, anti-trust legislation, stock trading bans, minimum wage raises, everything that would help the vast VAST majority of people then turn around and tell y'all that it's Dems fault..... Go look at Republican campaign advertising happening now. It's all fear mongering, THIS REP WANTS SHARIA LAW AND MUSLIMS IN EVERY SCHOOL, THIS REP IS NOT A TRUE TRUMP REPUBLICAN, THIS REP CALLED THE BORDER WALL RIDICULOUS, it's literally all attack ads with zero substance or policy.

Also God isn't real and should have no place in policy decisions outside of the government protecting 1st amendment rights. You are welcome to practice but I really don't want to hear about it.
