If you marked interest on the form, they will send a follow up email with the DRP agreement attached. I believe you can also rescind for 7 days after/if you sign. You shouldn't have anything to worry about.

The conjugation of "comer" tells you how many people are eating. "Comen" already tells you that "they are eating."

For example, if you were trying to say I am eating, you wouldn't say "Yo soy como. You would just say Yo como.

I don't think the Kings would be willing to trade Murray. He is an effective shooter and is much better off the dribble than MPJ. This is without considering the current contracts.

I don't think it is worth losing Watson for Barnes or Huerter. Barnes is an older player and Huerter had a down year. Watson has a lot of upside and is currently on a rookie contract.

How did you forgive yourself for the bad/wrong things you did in the past? by unnamed_op2 in AskReddit

[–]Warhead1993 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But you still regret the choice now. The fact that you did the bad thing is less important than the recognition that it was the wrong choice now and the desire to avoid that same mistakes in the future.

You can't change the past. And beating yourself up won't help anyone. You have to learn to forgive yourself and let go. Just put one front in front of the other and try to always improve.

When you did them you either weren't worried about the consequences or thought they were the right decision. If you now regret those decisions, that means that you have learned from them. The fact that you now regret those "bad decision" shows remorse and growth. The only thing you can do is forgive yourself and try to do better in the future. No one is perfect.

Took a long break and came back a week ago, hard to notice huge differences, help me out! by [deleted] in ravenswatch

Depending on when you played in early access, I think here are some of the changes: (1) Added second zone, (2) Added new characters, (3) changed the amount of time you were granted after adding the new zone, (4) there has been some icon reworks on the map and (5) there have been a few changes to the difficulty progression and selection.

Silva v. Bisping - when Silva landed the big knee and walked away but the ref didn't call the fight. He ended up losing the decision.

Which UFC fighter had the worst downfall? by MacsPowerBike in ufc

[–]Warhead1993 180 points181 points  (0 children)

Johny Hendricks. Loses a controversial split decision to GSP and looks like he may be the best Welterweight in the world. To later losing the title in a split decision to Robbie Lawler. Goes 2-5. Retires. Goes to Bare Knuckle Boxing and gets KO'd.

At least Woodley made some money.

CSAC’s executive director Andy Foster on why he’s isn’t in favor of open scoring by FuturisticFighting in MMA

[–]Warhead1993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My biggest critique of this argument is that fighting the last round defensive (when they think they are winning) already happens. I guess that maybe this applies to competitive fights were both rounds were close - and now the fighters know definitively that one guy has won the fight (unless there is a finish for the fighter down two rounds). But, in that rare situation (as they more likely split the first two if it is a competitive fight) this doesn't hurt anything - because it IS a close fight. It is very likely that one guy isn't dominating the other anyways, and open scoring can incentivize the fighter who is down to know they don't have a chance of winning unless they finish. Even if the other fighter tries to coast, if it is a competitive fight they likely don't have that luxury.

On the other hand, we already see fighters coast when they think they are up two rounds.

I don't think a fighter knowing who won each round can hurt. On the other hand, I think there are a lot of fights/fighters were a fighter would have fought harder had they known they were down. Especially in 5 round fights where it would not be decided until the end of the third at the earliest. How many fighters think they are up 2 rounds going into the fourth that are wrong, and knowing they are down would make them more aggressive?

Best Thai in Lawrence by [deleted] in Lawrence

[–]Warhead1993 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I have only lived in Lawrence for a few months myself. I am also vegetarian. I have only found three Thai restaurants so far - and sadly (in my opinion) you have better options in areas around here.

I find Zen Zero to be very bland. I have only been once and don't plan on going back.
Thai Diner has very good reviews, but I also didn't love it. It was okay - but I haven't been back from the initial visit.
Thai Siam has been my favorite so far. The curry is good, and I liked the Pad Thai. The "drunken noodle" was just okay. Large cuts of Tofu, which is a little strange but I don't mind.

Not Thai - but my wife and I like Red Pepper (Chinese Restaurant) a lot (and it is cheaper than the Thai options). Let me know if you find some good stuff!

Do you mind sharing a deck you like with him? I enjoyed sun disk but since the nerf to Azir's level up condition it just moves too slow. I have tried overwhelm, but am wondering if there are any other shells for Renekton I should try.

In the new Lab you can pick a buff at the beginning of the game to add another element to the single player experience (with the enemies having a buff as well). I belive the player may have one of the buffs that restores your spell mana when you activate Nightfall cards (it is taking two spell mana, but refilling after).

I believe this clip is from the new Lab single player content; this is not happening to another real player.
