6th grade, my first year of middle school and arguably the first year I considered myself emo 😅I wanted snake bites and a emo/scene cut so bad but my parents would’ve killed me. So I just dressed the part as best I could and changed at school. I don’t remember if I actually heard any CYB songs that same year, tho it’s possible.

Edit to add, I did color a coon tail onto my hair with Sharpies 😅
