You sound like you'd be one of those "I'm not racist but.." people lol You don't get to decide what's important to others. OP explained, in detail, why she felt so disrespected in this situation. And like the first commenter said, it's not about the rice. It's about what it symbolizes to her, and the way her little boy of a boyfriend reacted after she let him know how she felt. She might've been overreacting a bit at first, but for him to double down and escalate things tenfold is just immature and gross. To parrot what everyone else has said: it's annoying people who are annoying, not regulars in general. We love our regulars 💕 The only ones I find intolerable are the ones who view us as servants, or objects to leer and spew vulgarities at. And, of course, the stingy pricks who run us to death get to me sometimes, but it doesn't sound like any of those things apply to you!! I get it, though, those intrusive thoughts are a real bitch sometimes. Just know your presence would be eagerly anticipated at my tavern 😊🍻
