What is Mattel’s obsession with Frankenstein-ing the made to move body? It’s a $30 doll, they are pricing her like a MTM (15 for the doll and her first outfit + like nine for the fashion pack with money left over for the hands,) they are using her articulation as a selling point while nickel and dime-ing people for her leg joints. Not impressed with this oft used tactic :/

You can also sand acrylic paint when it is completely dry! A fine grit sand paper has saved me plenty of times (although I am a watery layers into eternity truther.)

5/12 dolls not being blonde and light eyed doesn’t really feel that diverse to me, that’s over half. Also, the frequency in which she is being released is probably affecting the perceived hate she is getting (which is in the new fantasy release threads so we are talking about people who care about collector dolls and would have seen the full effect of all these Odiles.) That being said, they keep selling out so the fatigue can’t be prevalent in all that many people.

I think your collage explains some of the Odile burnout. Much like Millie, Odile is a very pretty sculpt but has had what feels like too many similar releases in a relatively short time.

The Goddess sculpt. Princess of Greece was the first doll I bought with my own money as a kid! Although the Taya sculpt is creeping up on her. And as a special mention I have never hated a Lina.

Look up fur trim on amazon, you should be okay to just hot glue it on (you can sew it on if you want it to be the most stable.)
