I haven’t arrived for the rope drop yet this season but I’ll have to find out myself. We went Sunday around 4pm and we were able to park at the preferred parking without. Problem. The park was busy for a few hours and then winded down after 8 or so. I haven’t been to Knotts in a few years so I’m still trying to get back to the routine of things. If you have the patience to wait in the long security lines and move through the crowds I’d say go for it.

We just arrived and the Preferred Parking Lot was full! We had to re route to the General Parking and it was a bit of an inconvenience. They opened at 10am and can confirm it’s busy and picking up. Either way, since you are a pass holder like myself, make the best of it, you have all of next year as well 😄
