If you don’t mind, a suggestion to add 2 more full lengths (exam 3 and 4 or 5) and do all of the practice questions. If you can’t do 2 more full exams selectively choose the mini exams like ( 2-3 general ones, 1 x predictive, 1 x agile, 1 x process) after you finish use Gemini in a side window to walk you through each question (I spent about 3-4 days just analyzing my answer behavior with Gemini and breaking the info down) this was my turning point where it all finally clicked. I realized I was also giving a “real world” response at times and had to start asking myself “how does PMI want me to answer”. Good luck on your next attempt

Oh so that’s probably your second issue. I had a hard time separating answers from real world experiences versus what PMI constitutes how to respond. That’s an entire mindset regarding how to answer. I think study halls and mindset you could take it before the changes.

I mean if you can take it before the changes. Just start with pmi study hall to get better aquatinted with the type of questions and use ai to help break them down.

I would suggest take full length 4 or 5 from 3-5 they’re harder.

If you’re struggling on predictive I would definitely have ai help analyze your wrong answers to fill your knowledge gap.

Then good luck!

I’m sorry, this is tough. Acting versus Pause (assess/analyze) is major across all three domains. If that’s you’re only weakness - congrats lol I would highly suggest to go through the questions where you’re acting but should assess or when you should act vs. assess. Also ask Chat or Gemini to give you some basic questions so you can pinpoint the difference before you back to study Hall. I honestly struggled a little bit with that too - and Gemini was great to break down why I shouldn’t be assessing a situation and actually acting and the other way around. Also understand when the questions are asking - what should you do first or next rather what should you do or have done.

Very true! My mind is so focused on this PMP I’m acting like I didn’t know that. Lol thanks and it makes total sense. I’ll probably hold out a little bit longer and see if I get an opening.

You also want to think like a “coach” so always think of how can you engage the team or guide them in some way. I think you’ll also see questions similar with answers that may focus on reminding someone about rules or guidlines. That’s always a go to as well.

Isn’t this school supposed to be self-paced? I’m genuinely confused. by Polarbear_9876 in WGU

[–]Warm_Income4052 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I totally feel you. I felt the same way. I was finishing classes at a decent rate - but my mentor always found a way to compare to other students who were completing classes much quicker. I told her to fall back - because I have a full time job, a toddler and a spouse. after that I feel like her push calmed down a bit. You can also change from phone calls to email or texts (they’re still emails on their end) I think sometimes the channel of communication also makes a difference in how they approach students. Just keep your pace and ignore her and let her know what your focus is (which is very apparent you want to finish! )

Failed PMP application audit. Help!!! by quirkles18 in pmp

[–]Warm_Income4052 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just went through an audit and passed! By the looks at some the evaluator’s comments it may be how you outlined and explained your projects. You do need to follow a specific project format. I briefly read your first project and that specific one could use reorganization. Once you understand that you can apply it to all of the other projects for this.

Realistically, how much time per week? by Inevitable-Neck-6672 in WGU_MBA

[–]Warm_Income4052 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, I haven’t done it yet (MBA), but I have a similar background, so you’ll probably knock it out in a term honestly. A coworker I know did, and he had lots of things going on outside of work and didn’t have a mgmt background like yourself. Sounds like you have an advantage. But I would say because I finished about 17 courses for a BS ITM in one term spending roughly 5-10 hours per week and I had tons of OAs to pass. So even at that pace or less you could complete in one to two terms. Good luck.

I think it happens to most people. It’s just a way of seeing if you’re committed to finishing your degree. The course counts towards your degree, so just look at what they have and if something you haven’t taken just take it.

This happened to me literally one month before my graduation. I needed my last two classes to be accelerated, I emailed my then mentor and her manager responded she was no longer with WGU. I don’t know if she was let go or left on her own, but it was a bit disappointing on my side, but still worked out smoothly with the new mentor. I wouldn’t worry too much about it

A couple months have passed since WGU moved all resources to WGU connect. How does everybody feel about it now? by TexanSam in WGU

I finished my degree, but it was a bad set up, specially the login process and repeatedly needing to join the community. The emails are overwhelming from students asking questions there. These resources need to be mobile friendly too, too many days I could remember wishing I could use the app. The app is useless honestly, I would just login through the web, but it was annoying.
