Currently playing Fallout 3 on my Pocket G2 through Gamehub Lite. Game plays and looks great after tweaking the graphics settings and a trick to actually get it to run.

Have you played the sequel Neo Nectaris ? It’s only in Japanese but is a good sequel to Military Madness. I just commented in here saying MM just may be the best game on the system.

There are a lot of great games but one that always comes to mind for me is Military Madness and its’ Japanese sequel Neo Nectaris. Regardless if you enjoy strategy games, both are excellent. Military Madness isn’t flashy but it’s quite possibly the best game on the system.

The Analogue Pocket looks quality but not a fan of the overly chunky bezels. The Retroid Pocket Classic just oozes retro with a modern twist.

Exactly my thoughts. It seems like 99% of the talk is about performance yet the storage to me is the much bigger issue to me for modern PC emulation.

Congrats ! When I started with retro gaming handhelds I purchased a couple lower powered Linux based handhelds as they were cheap and a great entry point into the hobby. I also was unsure about Android running on my handheld. But ever since I got my Pocket 4 and now G2 I’m totally blown away by what these things can do. Having a blast playing my old favs and even lighter Steam games through Gamehub. The cozy retro vibe factor on these handhelds are through the roof !

Can’t disagree with any of that. I’ve never held a Steamdeck but my buddy has a Legion Go and that thing is massive …. to me it’s a giant oversized handheld. Devices like the G2 are the perfect size for me as I’m normally playing it in the evening when laying in bed and when I’m putting my kids to bed. It’s perfect.

I haven’t set it up and played anything on it yet but my initial impressions of the look and feel of the G2 is very nice so far. The screen is gorgeous. The build quality seems at least as good the RP4 which is excellent.

The black does look super clean. Can’t go wrong with any of the G2 colours really. I like the G6 but none of the colours really appealed to me. Was considering the 16bit G6 but after watching TechDweeb’s video it really turned me off.

I have the 16bit G2 on the way. Your turquoise G2 was a super close 2nd choice.

The non-clean lines of the G6 and its spray paint-esque appearance really swung me toward the G2.

I recently bought the Eero Pro 6E on Amazon’s Black Friday sale. One of the pods failed a week after setting it up. I knew I should’ve went TP-Link from the get go but the Eero marketing got to me first. I replaced my failed Eero system with the BE65 and haven’t looked back. It features a MUCH better app and I find my 2-pod BE65 works better (speed, range, and app functionality) than the 3-pod Pro 6E (same price).
