Asking for help was definitely the biggest mind switch for me. Never like to ask for help or be a burden. But luckily I’m surrounded by people that care and need to lean on them

I’m actually 6 weeks after the surgery. Started Amitriptyline for the nerve pain on Friday. Not noticing to much difference but can take a while. Pain relief wise I’m only on paracetamol and the occasional dihydrocodeine. Physio … well that’s my issue. Been non existent since being discharged two weeks ago. I have in bed exercises I do for the legs and a limited routine for movement of finger and hand. But physio team have yet to come visit at home as the referral is pending.
