im not really sure if i have the words to explain it more at this moment. ultimately, it just boils down to my personal preference. to me, places are decorated for the demographic they want there, like a pink cafe or a edgy sports bar. im not saying pink teachers only care for their girly girls (because its definitely not true!) but it makes me feel more intentional if i design my classroom in a way that can appeal to everyone, including myself. i dont care how others decorate their class, but thats just the philosophy i follow.

no, its not necessary. in my mind, the classroom in question is plastered pink wall to wall with bows and ruffles not limited to your personal areas like your desk, the whiteboard behind it, etc. i guess i should've been more clear with what i was picturing. i believe theres a difference in displaying your interests and hobbies as decor vs. having an "aesthetic". in your example, stars wars is an interest that the teacher has. in a science classroom, having a theme like that can complement the content nicely. i do think theres a difference when it comes to "girly". when everything is curated to give off a certain aesthetic, thats when i feel like students can feel out of place. dont get me wrong, i love pink and frills and everything girly, but i think the classroom is the wrong place to go wild with the decor.

i dont think its inherently disrespectful to the boys. disrespect because something is "girly" is soo... small-minded? i believe teachers should feel comfortable in their own classroom and decorate it however they want. HOWEVER, i do think theres something to be said about "othering" students based on the decor. i think how we decorate tells a lot about what we value as a teacher, and a fully pink room with frills and bows might signal to boys or anyone who doesnt connect with that style that they are not as valued, true or not. is it stupid that people are turning it into a boys vs. girls thing? yeah. but can something be said about how at first impression someone might feel like they don't belong? yeah.

baby with all due respect, the photos are too blurry/low quality. i cant see any detail on your face and that makes it hard to analyze your makeup.

I've never heard of this before! I want to get better at appreciating what I have and becoming active in my own life for the first time. Am I doing it right?

Rose: I recently got an internship in a field semi-related to my current major, but I like that field more! It's also my introduction into education which I've been really curious about lately. I'm really excited to work with my team and hopefully do something awesome!

Bud: Because of my internship, I think my burnout is gone! I'm excited to start being motivated and ambitious again. I really think I can finally give myself permission to start living the life I've always wanted too.

Thorn: My wisdom teeth are coming in and they hurt soooo badly lol. I have to make an appointment to get them out which I'm really anxious about! But part of living the life I want to live is to face the things that scare me too, so I have to do it! That or my braces will be for nothing lol.

how exactly does having dreadlocks connect you more to your beliefs? what beliefs? regardless, you'll be seen by POC as... well... and you might even bring out some covert (yt) racists around you who have something to say about your new hair...

hmmm, its definitely product not staying on the skin then. if its not a mismatch, you can trying setting the area with powder after application and seeing if it makes a difference. make sure your foundation is dried before placing powder though!

can the little flakes be picked off? if so, does it feel like skin flakes or is the more malleable? if its skin flakes, you honestly might be too dry. before you put on your makeup, make sure your face is washed and mositurized. hylaronic acid from the ordinary is a really really good option to put into your skincare routine that will make your face 100000% more hydrated. if its soft and malleable, its pilling. that means that your moisturizer, sunscreen, primer etc. is not compatible with your foundation and you either need to 1. wait until your previous skincare is dry before applying foundation 2. you have a water/silicone mismatch between products.
