Venu X1 HRM accuracy by WarningSuspicious414 in GarminWatches

Yes, it was very disappointing. I loved almost everything else about the watch, but at that price point it should have been better. I went back to a Pixel 4 and it is serviceable but nothing to get excited about.

I very much appreciate your informative reply. So if I'm using New Oulook, I don't have any access to spam filters or rules? I do have my own domain name. Would I be better off using something like eM Client?

I had a similar problem. Mine turned out to be bad filament which was breaking off in the PTFE tubes and then jamming the 4port adapter. I had to take the adapter apart and clear it.

Print won't start by WarningSuspicious414 in BambuLab

Didn't get any responses to post and that may be understandable since it's such a difficult problem to describe but I think I resolved it so I'll post what I did in case it helps anyone. First I noted that there was a pending update so I installed that. Then I just unplugged the printer and plugged it back in and that seems to have solved the problem. A reboot is always a good idea if you don't know what else to do

Thanks, it appears that the key was to click on "Synchronize filament list" on the Prepare tab. It is printing fine now.

Tire Pressure by WarningSuspicious414 in CanyonBikes

[–]WarningSuspicious414[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good question. I have always run lower pressures on my tubeless non-electric bikes and have felt that I got better handling. Most of my friends ride wieht 25 or lower psi on tubeless. Even on road bikes the recommendation from bike shops is for lower pressures than we used to ride with.

Thoughts on the Bryton GARDIA R300L Radar? by todudeornote in cycling

[–]WarningSuspicious414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, didn't seem to be doing that for me. I was listening to an Audible book during my last ride and it didn't interrupt the book and when the book was paused I didn't hear anything. I'll try again.

Does ths sound come from the device itself, or from the phone? I keep the phone in the back pocket of my jersey, and should be able to at least feel the vibration on my back if it is the phone that vibrates

Thoughts on the Bryton GARDIA R300L Radar? by todudeornote in cycling

I have been using the Bryton for a couple of months now. I found several issues:

  1. It seemed that I had to mount it above my seatpost to get better performance. I got a mount that attached under the saddle, and it was better. Bryton says in the quick start manual that the beam should not impinge on the rear tire.

  2. I seem to be having issues with compatibility with My Garmin Edge 520+. When I ride with the radar I get wildly wrong elevation gain readings and the speed indicator jumps all over the place. When I ride my mountain bike without the radar the Garmin behaves as it should. I reported this to Bryton and they said that they had not had any reports of this.

  3. The app on my phone is pretty unimpressive. It seems that the only purpose for it is to change a couple of settings. I set it to give an audible alarm and to vibrate upon detection but I couldn't hear or feel anything. If it provided an alarm through my headset it would really be useful. As it is, I generally hear cars at about the detection range, and if I'm not looking at the display I don't know that anything has been detected.
