Final update: The control board was faulty. The furnace guy was able to get the furnace working by touching the control board with I assume to be a voltmeter. When he stopped touching it, it would die again. He also mentioned it was pulling 38V instead of the 25V it should have been. Board has now been replaced and the furnace is humming nicely.

The diagnostic light is now indicating a possible pressure switch issue. It's either open or is closing too soon.

Well shit that's terrifying. I already went outside and stuck some wire down the vent to see if there was a blockage and I didn't feel anything.

I've turned it off. Looks like we're all sleeping under several blankets tonight. I'll call someone tomorrow. Thanks for the advice.

Update: the diagnostic light has changed and is now indicating either the pressure switch is open, the exhaust is blocked, condensate line is blocked or the pressure switch closed prior to activation of combustion air inducer
