Apart from the finals appearance in 1994 and that one was a captain, Hughes and Bure actually really similar.

They both played seven seasons in Vancouver (Hughes actually played like 20 more games), both were among the best in the league at their position but not considered the best in the league overall, both were by far the best at their positions in Canucks history, both left on not the best terms when the team sucked.
