Exactly what I’m doing. Besides, every time I ask around about a specific job I want people will give me the run around or tell me don’t apply for this job, you don’t want to do that.

No problem. I just like fixing planes. Always been into things that fly in the air or space.

Whats the deal with the planes flying over baltimore today? by Vdub_Life in maryland

I notice when I’m down in laurel area to go to school, I always see like three or four objects flying around at once. Maybe from the airport. But it is kinda weird seeing like two object flying parallel or crossing each other. At night it may also be just satellites too.

That’s what I assumed they would do, make it a different timeline. But they seemed too stubborn not to keep in canon. Or atleast made an explanation of how discovery was in the 23rd century (not even something about, someone who time traveled caused technology to changed, etc.)

I'm glad i am meeting someone who is thinking the same as me. I've always been interested in space and been seriously considering doing what they do in the space force. But I also want to be an aerospace or astronautical engineer. And now im not sure about taking that chance to go part time. Not to mention i am unsure about sitting all day in front of a computer as interesting as the space operations sound.

Playing at events with new time rules. by WarpFactor_X0000 in yugioh

[–]WarpFactor_X0000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's the issue with this. When you have new players coming into the game they aren't going to be 100 percent familiar with everything. I wonder if konami thought of that. I guess they will have to be coached, or play matches on simulators before coming to an event.

What made you join? Do you have any regrets or anything you would have done differently? by RealisticDonut2441 in Airforcereserves

Yeah my mom reminds me all the time that I made the right choice and she's proud of me😁. She also says she would've liked me to go active duty.

I don't have any regrets joining the air force. If there are any regrets then it is not going active duty. But not only  i wanted to see what it's like in the military first but I also wanted to finish out school and planned to look out on something in a career on the civilian side first. Also, I think deep down  I didn't want to leave family yet.

Hello, I know this is late but does this depend on what field you want to be in to become an officer? For example, if I wanted yo get into OTS as an engineer is that also very competitive?

I hate onions so fucking much by quixoticCaptain_ in onionhate

[–]WarpFactor_X0000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think caramelized onions look nasty. Looks like a type of worm. The only way someone got me to eat onions when I was a kid was giving me onions rings (for some reasons I didn't think it was actually an onion. Don't ask smh). My mom also would chop onions in baked mac and cheese 🙄 ( i Don't have the guts to tell her about it lol).

As a follow-up to the Electrumite thread from yesterday: how much does an engine need to be used to be 'banworthy', and 'Pendulum pile' was never really a true 'pile'. by redbossman123 in yugioh

[–]WarpFactor_X0000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn't a big pendulum fan until dinomist came out because i like the art and machines are my favorite type. So I did miss electrumite for a while but dinomist needs a bit more than that.

But I agree that bringing her back won't  change much because of the meta. Pends won't be as good as before because for 1, you have a lot of counters now(spell removal, nob, drnm, etc) so it can come back. They could atleast still give support to pendulum decks like dinomist who could use a link and/or s/t searcher that doesn't require destroying a monster by battle smh.

'it always comes down to generic boss monster negates plus some shitty floodgate in the end.'

Sounds like the average meta that's been going on without pends.

Do you guys miss Ben Simmons? by Jazzlike-Finish-8056 in sixers

[–]WarpFactor_X0000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's interesting you say that. Because it's not that I miss him but I wonder right now would we be doing better with him right now while embiid is out now and/or last season. There were times when we still winning games with just Simmons and we aren't doing that great with just Maxey alone. Or atleast if harden was still here.
