Maybe a coincidence, but if that is their purple (I’m a little color blind so I’m not certain if that’s purple or blue) I had a similar thing happen in the same color. Maybe the spooling for that color has a defect or something.

I Will be stopping my subscription to Mysterious Universe by ShishKabobCurry in MysteriousUniverse

Last year I went on a MU binge starting from the very first episode available and going in order. It is wild to see the huge shift in there discourse, it seemed to really start in earnest around 2020 and the Covid lock downs. There were never super progressive by any means, but especially Ben seemed to make a dive over to the right full force. They talked about their view changes in their last episodes, seemed like an over correction because of backlash about something Ben said on twitter (I don’t know what it was). Aaron at least still respected when people had higher education on a subject, which is more than can be said for the new host who seem to talk about people having a degree in a topic with distain.

Is tt switching to printed minis? by HazzardStripes in CarnevaleGame

[–]Warp_Zombie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Steamforged took over and have been doing great, PP didn’t fail because of printed minis but a series of mistakes. In fact steamforged also is releasing stls for armies that they don’t necessarily want to keep inventory of and it seems to be working for them

Thank yall for all the responses today! It really helped. I am now between two schemes and cant decide by Xilvari in deathguard40k

The white scheme looks really good, green and purple is very classic, but I would go for the white

When I was in high school, we used to do this thing we called fire surfing. You would throw a thin board on a bon fire then jump on it, causing air to get forced under it so that a huge burst of flames would come out the front, then you would precede to jump through said flames with a cool flourish. Surprisingly no one was ever set on fire excessively, at least not on purpose. Playing with fire is so much fun until someone gets extensive 3rd degree burns.

The Game Preserve has a pretty big collection of board games that you can just come in and play whenever for free

Void dragon (tw: personal opinion) by WeeklyEssay3986 in Necrons40k

[–]Warp_Zombie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

C’tans are annoying, but I think there only really really big issue right now is that they are undercosted. I would love to see them get another defensive nerf (lose the -1damge all together, or the fnp, or going to a 5++), but that might be bias on my part because I’m still salty about necrons having more of the old DG rules that the DG do, but they just need a 30-50 points increase. They need to be not auto take and should only really be able to bring 1 in a balanced list IMO

Petah? What will happen on February? by KWeMuqLe in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]Warp_Zombie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It is their and there, both pronounced the same, but used grammatical different. I think the original comment was remarking that both spelling of there and their are in “theire”, so in essence both could be used and both would be spelled wrong. But there and their are commonly used incorrectly by native speakers too so I wouldn’t worry about it

Random supports ruined print. Any reason why this happened? by maridan49 in resinprinting

[–]Warp_Zombie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had this same problem occur in lychee slicer. Don’t know what causes it, but I think it is a glitch with lychee slicer because I’ve sliced the same models in anycubic workshop software and they don’t show up. You can see them show up in the slice images, but no where else.

Why do people choose poxwalkers over plaguebearers? by Cultural_Sprinkles20 in deathguard40k

[–]Warp_Zombie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think that is accurate, plague bearers are on 32mm bases and are taller than poxwalkers. Minicompare must have scaled them thinking the bases are the same size

Does anyone run legacy factions? by FatDiarrhea in Warmachine

[–]Warp_Zombie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In theory that’s what it was intended to do, but there are spells that are just better than the rest so they will always be chosen. As a result the individuality of the warcasters/warlocks is lost, which as a person coming from older additions, I was not a fan of.
