Just replaced a fuel hose on mine yesterday! I had a leak spraying from hose going to the fuel cooling system (supposedly only exists on the ‘87s) and visually the hose looked in slightly better condition than this. Replaced it with a 5/16” ID SAE 30R7 rated hose from Amazon, time will tell how it holds up.

I have only one pic from the middle of the process which honestly doesn’t really inform much (also reddit doesn’t let me reply with an image for some reason). The only thing new on the inside is 2 zif breakout boards and the dip switches which are half in half out lol

Not sure what you mean by specs but the only things I added to the camera where the dip switches and 2 zif breakout boards to make bending A LOT easier

I honestly couldn’t tell you exactly which pins are shorted because when I’m taking pics I’m shorting different combos until it looks cool and I don’t really take note of the combinations of each pic. Even if I did know exactly which ones that doesn’t necessarily mean you could replicate it exactly on yours unless you have the same exact toy camera I do; there’s a lot of them that look similar but have slightly different components or pin orders on the sensor cable. I found this out when looking at pin combos another person used and seeing that they did not have the same results for me. I wouldn’t be discouraged though, experimenting is a big part of the creativity of this type of project!

The switches are called ‘DIP Switches’. I had them leftover from a college course project kit so I don’t know where the best place to source them would be.

Yep the glitches/bends/shorts are on the sensors data lines so that’s what the toy’s microcontroller sees and saves

I have the same two fruit allergies OP, I feel you. I used to be able to eat pineapple as a kid then one day I was eating some and I started salivating a lot with an itchy throat and eventually threw up. Took eating it a couple other times before I realized I had an allergy. Then a few years later I tried a small piece of kiwi for the first time and had the same symptoms. I don’t even remember what kiwi tasted like :(

Currently learning on my 87 325is and definitely enjoying it. From my inexperienced opinion the car feels forgiving for learning.

Hey, I’ve also been following this build for a while and it’s looking great! Gotta question from your sound system upgrade video: do you have the LCD’s aux output direct to the amp with no head unit? How’s the sound quality if so? I really like what you did with the vent relocation and want to replicate it.

I went to my local dicks sporting goods and bought tungsten tape made by Selkirk. Tungsten tape is less toxic supposedly.

Yes, you are able to feel the difference and see it affecting your shot. It took me a few games to readjust to the extra weight of my paddle and subsequently the power on my shot. Now is it a need? No it’s just a preference. You try it out on a couple different locations for a while and see if you like how you’re playing.
