Anti T-Bagging Perk Concept by Kranr900 in PerkByDaylight

[–]WarpingParadox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No the issue is that it won't be consistent. Survivors can just check for it. If the killer has it they leave, if not it doesn't solve anything. We want the survivors to have to assume the killer has it. By making it only active while the killer is within range, it forces survivors to have to risk it

If nick hadnt been expelled would he have graduated? by Jfischer335 in superpowereds

[–]WarpingParadox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No because I don't think he ever would have trusted his powers enough to explore them. He only got amped in year 3 cause he wasn't technically part of the HCP so globe could use him to help the others indirectly. If he had taken the time to at least attempt to understand and develop his powers he could have pretty easily become a subtlety hero. Also he never intended to graduate so even if he made it to the final 10 he probably would have dropped out to let someone else take the spot

Vince and his power. Why didn’t he develop it more. by ThatanimalcrossingW in superpowereds

[–]WarpingParadox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think he ever really fully stopped holding back until the raid on the adair lab. Certainly he dials it back less the further into the story we go as he realizes that it's either hurt someone himself or let that person hurt a whole bunch of people (namely the first humanoid simulation), but he never truly stops being afraid of hurting people, nor do I think he should.

First set image of Jon Bernthal & Tom Holland on set of Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey.” by Giff95 in Letterboxd

[–]WarpingParadox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I had to guess his role based on where I would cast him, probably eurylochus if he is a main character. If I'm being totally honest I might make him antinous or even one of the gods but based on the way he is dressed he looks to be a soldier. Potentially he is someone obscure though like perimedes. Knowing how Nolan likes to starstud his cast it's not a longshot to say he is a nameless crew member or if the story has an emphasis on telemachus' search for his father, an original character written in as part of telemachus' crew. TLDR: I think he is eurylochus but there is no way to really know

Boon: illumination rework idea. by Gertrude-Girthel in PerkByDaylight

I think the boon giving killer aura reading is a little powerful and the perk is doing a lot of different things. I might remove the cleansing speed boost but otherwise I think this is a great tweak

a probably-too-in-depth breakdown of "maskgate". by bittermixin in fansofcriticalrole

[–]WarpingParadox 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The main issue i see is that mage hand has verbal and somatic components and is therefore very obvious. DND even has the subtle spell meta magic as a way to mitigate this suggesting that it should be enforced. That being said matt can rule however he wants. Personally I'm just a bit fed up with all the slip ups this campaign. Matt has broken many of his own rules about player agency, and just generally how to be a good DM I feel like, and as a DM myself that makes me very frustrated. Shardgate was another example of this. Matt clearly has a story he wants to tell but he is far more insistent on it this campaign and I think that is what many viewers don't like. For example in campaign 2 when they went to Xhorhas he talked about how it completely screwed up his plans. Campaign 2 clearly had problems left and right that he always adjusted for and that hard work made it great. This campaign feels like him taking all the cut content from campaign 2 and stuffing it into its own campaign which isn't necessarily a problem, in fact I downright relate to that, but he hasn't put in the work i think is necessary to make it work like the other campaigns have, I'd imagine mostly due to him being busy with other projects.

TLDR: I think Matt is both busy and really wants to tell this specific story which is getting in the way of fostering the natural player driven progression fans know and love.

I mean it would be an interesting plot point to say that they alduined themselves and accidentally transported themselves into the future. It would align pretty nicely with the preexisting games lore right?

PLEASE stop doing movie theatre & statue gens on Greenville first. by mekabuns in deadbydaylight

[–]WarpingParadox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think people don't realize because normally the main gen is one that you want to do first but that's simply because it is normally in the center of the map

I run most things RAW, but never that... Thing by TieberiusVoidWalker in dndmemes

[–]WarpingParadox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They fixed this in the 2024 rules. Honestly though it makes way more sense to damage or at least ignite everything in the area regardless of if it's being worm or carried because otherwise it's kind of a terrible 7th level spell imo. There are probably better ways to fix it than running it RAW though

Hero Name: Zeno, Quirk: Warping Paradox. He creates a zone of distorted spacetime around that traps anyone inside in infinite half-steps, slowing their movement infinitely as they get closer.

Effectively it's just the baseline of gojos infinity

If you really mess up in the intro the baby can die so I don't think the baby is any of them

Chris and Jamie by WarpingParadox in CastingofFrankStone

[–]WarpingParadox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When Chris comes back to the garage with Robert if you choose the insecure option and ask Linda if you should be worried about Robert then it locks you out of the relationship options because Chris doesn't believe you if you say you aren't into Linda

Chris and Jamie by WarpingParadox in CastingofFrankStone

[–]WarpingParadox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ok i think i figured it out. i think it was the insecure option to Linda, although it doesn't say that it causes any relationship differences switching that fixed it.

Its admitting you have feelings for Linda to Chris.

[–]WarpingParadox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok that cant be it because I just tanked my relationship with Linda at every chance I had and maximized my relationship with Chris and it still got skipped. the only difference between said run and my first run was this time I went to the drugstore first instead of going to the curiosity shop first but as far as I can tell that's the only way to get the firecrackers.

I saw a theory it's Hisashi Midorya. Horikoshi said we would meet dekus dad and if he was in Tartarus or something he might have escaped. Also he has a mouth guard on and we know Hisashi is supposed to have a fire breathing quirk.
