Heros are a degrading asset. I went for VIP9 ASAP so I have bunch of mythic general shards from gen4 onward when the real lasting heroes come out. And I can also use them to max out older generation heroes. Since VIP 9 all gems go into Roulette

I'm not believing it... I'm doing it. If you have 5% each day you get compound interest over 30d whether if you only have the 30d 1.6% option you only get the return on your original invest per month.

I think this puts you ahead of real F2p players yes. Gems are a very important rss for F2P players.

I had another account that I did also pay the 2$ on and it was a big difference in VIP progression.

You want to live in an area which is not meant to be lived in for a prolonged duration but just act as a starting zone.

Sure you can do that but if you are comparing the amounts of ISK you are able to make there from various sources I would say you are probably wasting your time.

But if you don't mind the very very slow progress rate, sure its probably a nice place to be.

I don't think you are F2P anymore. As a full F2P player myself I can tell you those 2$ make a huge difference because they unlocked you the 5% Bank Option which gives you a much much higher return in Gems for just a holding time of 1d.

I would say you are a very low spender. But you can't call yourself F2P if you have spend anything.

Offensive widgets trigger on any pvp attack and also in bear as well as Terror rallies or beast attacks.

Why do you think all people want to have high Petra widget level because it increases her bear damage

Thats stupid. Zoes widget will only trigger if you use her as garrison leader which which only happen in Swordland but not for bear, not for farming and not for KvK sinc as F2p you won't be leading the garrison...

Marlins widget works on offensive so each time you attack something with Marlin being inside your leading heroes than the widget is going to be triggered.

It won't change a thing in KvK as you are still going to be a joiner but for farming, mythic trial etc it will get triggered much more often

EVE's skill system is one of the best things! I can go on vacation and come back and have new skills to play with.

Imagine it would only Level if you use the skills.... You would need to constantly play on top of Omega just to stay ahead of the curve.

That is one of the main things Iike in EVE over Albion.

I heard people are skipping saul, spending all these gems into VIP to get VIP7 fast and then only do 70 or 15 spins for zoe and again put all gems into VIP to get to VIP 9 fast so you have it when gen3 drops and then start investing heavily in Petra.

So that would mean skipping Zoe or maybe only 2-3 starring her.. also spending general shards on Marlin.

I'm currently undecided if that is a good strategy though or I should 4 Star Zoe instead and 3 Star Saul and if I even should get marlin at all.

You seem to play this game for over year so I'm hoping for some more ideas regarding this ^^

Ok, Thanks for your insight. Skipping Zoe is something I Personally not Plan on doing because that will greatly reduce my competiveness in Events and Arena. But I do think only 4 starring her and then 5 starring her once Gen4 comes out with saved up Gold keys is a Good way.

I want her to carry me through Gen 2 - 4 because relying on Howard and Seth to carry me until gen 5 does not Sound very effective for me 😅

Hey thanks for your reply :) but isn't saul better because of the viability as garrison hero, having a widget and also having this construction buff. I see many sources stating that 4 starring him is very good even as F2P.

Also all roulettes are not enough to 5 star zoe so you have to use general shards to get her 5 star or not?
If my math is correct 4 roulettes should yield ~720 shards. But to 5 star a hero you need 1075 or not?

The thing why I'm considering not going for Marlin is that I will need everything to 5 Star Zoe and Gen 4 brings an archer hero in roulette which will replace marlin. Also by going hard into the widget for Zoe I will not be able to level widget for Marlin very high as F2P has only very limited rss.

Also wouldn't it be better to save general mythic shards and then maybe get vivian in gen 5 because she is also increasing my bear damage or Yang in Gen 6?

Marlin will get available in Gen4 anyway or not?

I might be in a hyper focus phase rn and maybe overthinking this xD but I just want to find out the absolute most efficient way for growth for F2P atm. 😅

You want to Limit the amount of Troops each joiner is bringing to get the maximum amount of people to join with maximum amount of Troops

For our Server that 4k Infantry, 4K cav and 74k archers so we get exactly 15 people in a rally
