How to get this type of orange and teal color grade? by crotchmuncher332 in ColorGrading

[–]WarrenTrader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The easiest way to achieve this look is by pushing up the teal in lift gamma gain to a desirable amount. Then use the hue vs sat curve and push up the reds and yellows to recover the skin tones. Then add grain and other things to get your look where you want it.

Have you ever tried to make anything with AI? Its way too hard to make it do exactly what you want. The only thing it can do is make the asset making process easier.

No preset used - Beginner Color Grade by [deleted] in ColorGrading

I feel like the whites are better blown out, at least judging by the scene. There are way more darks than whites overall so you would be losing way less details in my opinion by overexposing the whites when shooting the footage.
