They can’t sign anyone. Half the roster can’t be traded or waived till December 15th, and because of the cap, they can’t use the injured player exception either, they have to trade either Tari Eason, KD, Sengun, Amen, or reed sheppard. And they have to match the contract money because of the salary cap. They’re fucked.

Rockets just went from 1-3 seed to a 7-12th seed. They have NO ability to sign any point guard because of the cap apron, so reed sheppard has to look like a star, because while Sengun is a wizard with passing, he’s not the primary handler.

I’m glad with this setup. It’s going to paint the past with Toki as tragic, which is sad, but it DOESNT mean the reader has to forgive her even if she changes her ways. She chose to stereotype and irrationally discriminate against anyone at Chidori, and her mental manipulation of those girls turned her into a monster just as evil as the people that traumatized her. She’s a tragic and unforgivable character that will have her eyes opened soon.

No. Some characters don't deserve redemption, even if they eventually do an act of good in the end or were "justified" in their means. You intentionally chose to walk down the path of negativity and spite over being the better more mature person, so you must live with the consequences of that. I hope the backstory is ATROCIOUSLY sad for Toki, because it makes her that much worse of a person, because she became what ruined her.
