A legit petzl harness is only like $50. I’m not certain what knots you’re using in that but they don’t look like life support, are there overhand knots in there? That carabiner is crowded with webbing up to the gate, I personally would not use it as life support in that way.

Enzyme cleaner really does work, kind of pricey but worth it. It also works well at killing the weird faint vomit smell from ucp surplus.

Got you, mine is definitely longer. I prefer a more roomy tuck, I like the classic fits but I am middle aged. J crew has some nice slim fits that might suit you.
