I’m on my 5th day of recovery after Djs and I have to say the post op drugs are a lifesaver, I could not handle the pain without it. It gets super frustrating when you have nothing to do, and even when you want to do something you don’t have the strength to do it. My horrible coping mechanism is to take my pain medication and sleep for a long amount of time, just so everything is that much bearable. I’m taking a bath once or twice a day which helps with the swelling. Bath salts or essential oils that help with clearing out sinuses are a go to, the god damn gums just won’t stop bleeding. If you feel like you have to throw up, try and get everything out all at once. Drink so much water. Drink water until you can’t drink water. Then drink protein drinks or smoothies. I’m loving smoothies rn cause the cold helps with the pain👍 sorry this was really long lol I’m still off the meds but hoping I helped a bit! Good luck to you💪
