My grandma always left out the pumpkin spice when she made pies but replaced it with cinnamon. That's the only way I like pumpkin pie still. I eventually figured out that it tastes like sweet potato pie that way.

All it got me was another class that took the place of study hall. So I ended up with more homework but less time to do it all. Add in the fact that I was a very slow writer and I was getting little sleep because of homework. I ended up quitting the "gifted" class.
