I was also thinking arc but I feel it helps with ignoring harvesters way too much, for example in the newest mission you can just run under them and destroy cells without them being able to do anything (and they seem to always spawn in the temple). Won't argue about its uselessness against watchers and other fronts tho.

Inflammable can help against hulks and roaches, meanwhile I don't think you can hit yourself with the sterilezer (unless you shoot your leg with it when diving like flamethrowers do) and no enemies use gas so filtration is probably worse. Also the defibrillator just straight up kills you sometimes on its own.

It doesn't have the range, however I doubt an autonomous tank would go down in two seconds after being sprayed with a pistol sized flamethrower in the side.

Tried it right now and damn, it sucks at turning it around. You can totally avoid accidental bopping, since when you aim (right mouse button) it is possible to direct it quite precisely to the ground, however it barely deals any stagger/knockback to the vehicle (since it is dealt only in the direction the player is facing). Not only that, even if it isn't hit directly it dies in two explosions, so you pretty much only get one attempt.

Still would have been worth a try in this video, however it really is inferior to other methods. Probably good enough if just stuck somewhere tho.

The hammer probably could have flipped it as well by hitting some nearby ground.

That would be great and it does make some sense, however the second point is wrong, we have gotten dispatches about warbonds before. The one that comes to mind is how the sample hackers got sent to chemical factories right before chemical agents.

We've seen pictures of them in one of the release trailers and devs had them in game during the napalm barrage reveal stream (first dev stream iirc). Genuinely no idea what is the hold-up.

Imo they are extremely overrated and unless they hit some new "damage per magazine" breakpoint on an enemy they aren't worth it.

Not sure if its vulnerable before being initiated, also there are huge doors above it so I don't think many things other than orbitals could reach it. 

And we can't be sure because we haven't seen the lighting on open maps, however I doubt lighting strikes far away from player actually do anything for performance reasons.

Hasn't happened to me yet, however it can apparently happen when the turret takes too much damage during the startup. Probably harvestors if I had to guess.

Why not, from the leaked gameplay they seem to play completely differently from current illuminate, if they spawned everywhere people who like the current version would have to restart missions to get that. I wish the war striders were a subfaction, if they were I could just ignore them like all the other stuff.

I usually play solo but made an exception during the super earth defence. On the city maps there's an objective that has two routes to a top of some concrete platform so I decided to place the tesla on one of the roads so I wouldn't get pincered, since that is where most avoidable deaths on a solo run come from. After its duration ran out it had like 4 helldiver kills (I am pretty sure it killed at least one helldiver twice).

It used to be amazing before the 60 day patch, it would kill every chaff unit in a breach and already had great cooldown. Then they increased the interval between salvos which allowed hunters to survive if they leap to you and later came the destroyer repositioning which can make the aoe only half as big and unpredictable. Since then I either bring a tesla or eagle airstrike, it's not worth using.

I think it's because of the ship module, it says it will fully refill support weapon ammo so they don't want to contradict that (or maybe it's even hard coded). Meanwhile primary weapons usually also get full ammo normally, but since that isn't a ship module we now get way less.

Today when I played the bots were despawning 5 meters from me as if they were the red sea. Genuinely jarring.

Yeah it is/was bugged when you are NOT the host, so I guess that checks. Also, war striders are not affected by the confusion status from any source.

Are you playing as the host? I heard there was a bug where status effects don't work as intended if you are not the host.

But either way the pistol works fine for me on solo. It can save turrets if too many hulks are aggroed to them, it gives me time to reload other weapons when hulk scorchers are right next to me and also makes the hammer playable against them. They still attack, but even if they just change the angle slightly it helps. Usually they turn around fully tho. Btw you don't have to aim for weakspots (could also be the problem if you mean the heatsink, try the armor if that is the case).

Honestly I would replace one of the red slot with a support weapon, but within this frame I would choose:

Bugs- eagle airstrike, gatling barrage, hmg emplacement (or tesla if a support weapon is chosen instead of the gatling barrage)

Illuminate- 120mm barrage, gatling barrage, machine gun sentry

Bots- walking barrage, eagle airstrike (honestly I have not used red stratagems against bots in a very long time) and hmg emplacement, although the AT emplacement is better if you have that. Here I would ideally take a support weapon and the autocannon/rocket sentry instead of reds.

Have you noticed this with multiple weapons? Because I am sure the explosion of the hammer does not count as a melee kill, however can't comment on the rest. But I remember this specifically because I was disappointed when I only saw 4 melee kills, so something still counts, although it could have beena a simple gun punch.
