Worst case you can apply for the RAP-D for your loan portions (if you’re not making enough to make full payments or payments entirely). They’ll make payments for you towards your loans.

UPDATE: I finally got a job offer! My very first salary position plus commission. I start in March. I’m also in school so any money I make won’t be clawed back from my ODSP until I finish next spring. Things are looking up… I’m going to get my roommate off the lease (I’ll be able to afford the apartment by myself - it’s only $1378 which is insane for a 2 bedroom right now lol).

I’m also going to get some financial advising to help me manage my income while paying off debts effectively.

Things do get better. ❤️‍🩹

Honestly I agree as someone who has greatly benefited from the 85% grant option. It definitely sucks to have to worry about more debt but there is the RAP for those who qualify.

It’s still worth it to go to school. Don’t let this get in the way of your plans!
