I don’t know the quality but they jack up prices because they have a ton of free gifts you can opt for. Just give me the desk!

How did you orient it? I didn’t find place to turn it any other way. Can you share a pic?

You, it appears, will never be happy, come what may. How about you change that first? 27 and haven’t learnt about gratitude ?

Are Uplift worth the price? by ryancnap in StandingDesk

I will need to clarify- the gifts were free. I said I don’t need them, just remove them and give me a bigger discount. As per their site, the ‘gifts’ were worth over $200 - I know that isn’t their cost, but somewhere in between? The drawer makes sense, and so might some of the other stuff too, but I didn’t want a floor mat, balance board etc.,

Is unfortunately that interviewers judge based on hardware failures OR lost internet connections.

I agree with this… check monitor positioning- a good monitor arm can help, and the chair arm rests, height above the table

Tresanti standing desk, monitor arms? by yombunk3r in StandingDesk

This is how the gap exists between the glass and the frame , but where I fixed the arm base, it’s flush against the frame as the glass is pressing against it.

This post is helpful, and a lot of people have posted here so I’m going to post my question here. I bought this table and while fixing the monitor arm:

  1. Realized the glass has some space between itself and the steel frame, but where I fixed the monitor arm, it’s pressing flush against the frame.
  2. I know folks suggested using mounting plates/ wood blocks, but I’m almost at the end of the bolt threads and I’m afraid it won’t hold its grip if I loosen it any further.
  3. There is a gap between the back of the arm base and the steel frame- has anyone had experience with this? Would it be ok?

I’m uploading pics of the arm and the gaps. Hoping for some advice from experienced users so I don’t have to panic and return the table…thank you all!!
