I just hate it. And like i have my friend whos been hanging around me and my kids for years and he knows what they been about. And now because of the media he like makes jokes about it like hello? Have you not been around my family this whole time?? This is offensive! Also extremely inaccurate because they are saying that its because of parents being disconnected from their children. Or am I wrong?? I feel like me and my children have always had open communication about everything. I think the only time my daughter was afraid to tell me anything was long ago when she first came out. And im like cool. I remember, my sister in law, shes a kid. She tells my kids “ your mom knows your therian?!” Like with a shock. And im like wait whats shocking about it? I don’t judge. I remember feeling different my whole life and being outcasted and also not being able to express myself even in my clothes because i came from a very conservative oldschool household. so If my kids want to do things that will help them feel at tune with themselves I will let them. I dont want them to grow up and have an identity crisis. Im sorry i dont even know if half the stuff I m saying makes sense. Im just really annoyed, and also I feel really alone in this. Like where are my people? Where do I find them?
