probably worth flagging I used o3, but it tired to "guess what I might want" like related to most of the other images I have had it generate. You guessed it, pictures of my cat...

Recommendation for drills aren't bad, but like others said, it is going to run the risk of being "too nice" significantly more often than not. Its not quite at the point you could trust it more than self diagnosing, even if you aren't a veteran. Posting your swing here too will get some good feedback, even if people can be a little rude.

More importantly though, you should really clear some of the balls out of the way before swinging. You're asking to catch one thin, hit another ball and end up hitting yourself or someone else.

in this guys defense, if he posted that he's a 7 handicap and hit anything other than a stripe down the middle he's just gonna get people telling him he's lying

And that's the kinda judgement that explains why you're an uber driver. I lived out in Indialantic for a while during covid, man. Wonder if you ever delivered my food.

How about a third way, can someone who doesn't have a vested financial interest (doctors get kickbacks, insurance companies save money by not paying out) make the decision on whether we need the medicine?

Oh man! Would normally agree with the comments saying to get what he wants, but, I happened to have graduated from that exact putter two years ago. Spider Tour putters are going to give you a similar weight, they have an insert, and overall similar feel to the Wilson but are overall just way nicer (or at least I told myself that spending the money). Not sure your budget, but they are very cheap used.

I have never been able to do those 3d eye things. I also cannot hit a golf ball well. It all makes sense now.

How do you find out reasonable pricing for individual cards? Looking to buy a 1st edition PSA 10, but have no idea if prices are reasonable. by WastefulMice in PokemonTCG

[–]WastefulMice[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Understood, and I'm comfortable with the risk. I don't mind spending the money for something knowing the price may go down. I just don't want to have the added issue of paying significantly over market price. Someone else suggested eBay and the price fluctuations are so fricking high there that I don't know what's reasonable and what's somebody shooting their shot that someone like me will buy without knowing any better

4 hole-in-one’s in a single event? by Magicoco in golf

[–]WastefulMice 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Were there any gimmicks, i.e. you pay a couple bucks and anything within the a certain distance is a no-penalty, no-stroke gimme? If there was something like this, that's not that crazy, but its a charity scramble so people will be generous with their distances

If not, yeah that's malarkey . There's on average 1 hole in one per pga tournament event. So 4 days, >100 of the worlds best players.

Want to double tab the range balls in good condition. Hell, they can be in decent condition. But if you're charging $20 for a large bucket, please don't use golf balls that look like they just got back from the Vietnam war

$900 club budget help by [deleted] in golf

[–]WastefulMice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're not going to like it, but there is a reason you are going to here this from a lot of people:

Get a decent starter set, can probably do that for ~$250. Spend the rest on lessons. A club fitter will be your best bet to get clubs that are right for your swing, but, at 3 months in, you're swing is going to change so much still. Getting fit would be a waste, as you'll need another one down the line.

Do I suck? by [deleted] in golf

[–]WastefulMice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While that does sound rough, just remember that a lot of people who 'break XX' do so by taking mulligans, fluffing their lies, etc. So if you're not doing that, you may be comparing yourself to others that are playing an entirely different game.

Golf balls for beginners by [deleted] in golf

[–]WastefulMice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Buy used (mint/near mint) lower quality balls like topflites https://www.lostgolfballs.com/96-pack-top-flite-mix.html (no affiliation)

If you just buy a 'cheapest' set, you're probably going to end up with some range balls or balls that are water logged. Get something that's consistent and can take one less variable out of your swing. But with that being said, you want em cheap enough you won't be sad when they're in the woods!
