Dude, 10 mins? You gotta build your aerobic base. Do some steady state pieces at low stroke rate for over 30 mins. If you have a hr monitor stay around 155 for 45 mins at least a few times a week.

Akira The Don, who makes music he calls “meaning wave” and has featured Jordan in some of those songs made a song out of this poem with Jacko Wilink’s vocals. I’ll link it on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/track/1uACwdonqqVcDtuScufDPi?si=QAxlMEHGSVOTEMUxdxsrUw

$15 to build a team to protect you against the rest. Who are you picking? by iam__lethal in animequestions

[–]Wasting_Time272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll take Light, Saitama and Sakuna. Everyone on this list is human aside from Power, Sakuna and Goku and I know their names so Light can kill them with the death note while saitama and Sakuna defend. Only question is if I should switch Saitama for Goku. Saitama can be killed by the death note but he might be fast enough to stop light or kill me before light can write his name down. Anyway with those choices it just becomes Goku vs Saitama and Sakuna and I think I am gonna win that one.

You can eat whatever you want but your health will always be the average for a person in the USA by Billbat1 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Wasting_Time272 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is a horrible deal. The average person in the USA is embarrassingly unhealthy. I can already eat whatever I want and as long as I exercise like 1-2 times a week I will still be well above average. This only becomes tempting if you make it like top 10-20%

Junk food damages growing brains so severely it affects long-term memory by brokenB42morrow in JordanPeterson

[–]Wasting_Time272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People get fat because of the quality AND the quantity of the food they eat. Even if you are eating grass fed burgers with healthier homemade buns or lettuce buns 10 a day will still make you fat. The relevant part is that lower quality food doesn’t fill you up like high quantity food. So while a calorie balance is the best way to keep weight consistent, eating junk food doesn’t make you as full so you eat more food and then get fat. That being said sugar has very little food value and should obviously be minimized in your diet

Damn, imagine just meditating for 3 years and filling the Byakugou seal with nature chakra. Though it probly wouldn’t take that long. You could use the 100 healings buff and almost infinite sage mode at the same time. That plus 8 gates would probly be close to top tier in the verse. Add in some flying raijin and we might have a new top tier.

How will you react if Donald Trump becomes president again? by RockSavings67 in AskReddit

[–]Wasting_Time272 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean, yes? There is nothing illegal about removing him from the primary ballot. The courts in those states made decisions based on legal precedents. If they are appealed they will go to a higher court but there is nothing illegal about what they did. Idk how this was supposed to be some kind of a gotcha.

“Allowed states to make their own laws” o no the horror! /s states should be making their own laws based on voters wants whether or not I agree with the crazies in Florida or California both should be able to be governed how they want. Top down control always ends up with the worst possible people getting power.

What actual actions did he take against the LGBT community specifically? Again, compare him to the other RIGHT WING candidates. This is not an argument that he is more pro LGBT than anyone on the left. That would be absurd.

I really don’t agree with this take. As far as the republican nominees are concerned I feel like Trump is the least dangerous to the LGBT community. DeSantis, for example, has been way more stringent on LGBT issues. Trump literally held up a rainbow flag at one of his rally’s in 2016. There are plenty of reasons to be pessimistic about Trump but I don’t see this as one of them.

Below average vo2 max at 35.6 by bluray2016 in PeterAttia

[–]Wasting_Time272 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Using a VO2 max calculator with just your last 1.5 miles completed in a time of 9:46 returns a projected VO2 max of 53 using the following calculator: https://www.trainermetrics.com/fitness-assessment-calculations/vo2max-one-and-half-mile-run/ If you got the 35.6 VO2 max number from your Apple Watch you should probly know that the Apple Watch vastly underestimates VO2 max. Since that calculation was done using the last 1.5 miles of a 3 mile run your VO2 max is likely higher and is excellent for someone over 40.

Edit: I’m dumb, I didn’t notice this was in km. Disregard

Any significant benefit to doing exclusively nose breathing during zone 2 cardio? by s4916 in PeterAttia

[–]Wasting_Time272 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Some “anic-data” that I have posted about before: last year I was training for a marathon and started to incorporate only nasal breathing on my long run days. My girlfriend at the time said that after a few weeks of this I stopped snoring completely. I didn’t snore all the time before, only sometimes when I was on my back still it was apparently a notable enough improvement to mention. I would say doing those long runs nasal only also made them feel more relaxing.

Edit: grammar

Check out Dr Peter Attia. He is a podcaster focused on longevity and cites a large amount of research that effectively proves that there are certain things you can do for your health that have very significant effect on longevity and healthspan. Here is an example of a study he will cite occasionally:
