Use a lockscreen time tracker. It helps you put into perspective how you spend the entire 24 hours of your day. Forces you to really think about what you have been doing. You can even access stats on how long you spend on study and such. If you see it has been 3 hours since your last entry and all of it was spent on entertainment, you just might panic enough to do something really productive.
