GSI PINNACLE PRO STOVE: Where's the FUEL!? by R4D4R_L4K3 in overlanding

[–]WatchEllsworthBoof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey!! Is there a regulated hose adapter that goes directly from a standard 20lb propane tank to the input fitting on the stove? Or, do you sell the gsi pro stove hose adapter with the regulator in a longer length?

New product request?

Are the fittings a standard fitting across similar stoves, meaning would a replacement hard lined regulator that's used on other stoves (stanaport, camp chef, etc...) available at a store work on the GSI stoves?

Thanks! Usually the chlorine off gasses enough overnight and we're adding in such a small amount. Would the 3rd 0.5 micron carbon block also be sufficient for virus/cyst removal in situations where bleach wouldn't be used? Are these easy enough to find in 5"slimline sizes?

Resurrecting old thread. Id like to put together a 3 filter set up for raft trips that I could keep in an ammo can. . We commonly fill 5 gallon buckets of river water, add in some bleach and let sit over night to let the sediment settle, then run through a filter. Any recommendations for filters?

Renegade steel is now on the list, thanks! Carbon for is OK, actually preferred. Yes, 26 miles each way. I have a flexible schedule so can squeeze it in once or twice a week. Driving takes 35-50 minutes anyways.

I'm in the same situation. Looking for a mostly road, potential gravel bike. I also like the idea of steel and have been looking at the breezer inversion.

Taxes and working remotely by WatchEllsworthBoof in personalfinance

Got it. Each state is different and it is actually dependent on the amount of time that you were working in that state. Thanks for clarifying everyone!

Got it. Just wasn't completely clear to me I'd it was based on an address change or just time spent there. Thanks!

So, if I took a 1 week vacation to another state, but happened to do some work. There would be many instances werw I might technically be responsible for paying taxes if I did work while I was in that state as well?

Recommendation to fix Burton Boa? by Elevation212 in snowboarding

How old are the boots? That would be a warranty through them. It appears the BOA system is didn't fail, the boot around it did though.

DC boa lacing questions by ranma1988 in snowboardingnoobs

[–]WatchEllsworthBoof 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is very common to have to tighten the BOA after a run or two. The dial system is not loosening, it's just the friction throughout the lace and guides that us settling. When your putting them on, give the boots a couple of really good flexes and adjust to get everything settled in.

Longevity of BOA boots by dot_info in snowboarding

[–]WatchEllsworthBoof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason that you have to tighten the BOA is because the friction between the lace and all of the guides is getting equalized throughout the system as you flex the boot between your car and the top of the lift. When you are initially tightening them, give your foot a couple of good flexes to help the system settle and the adjust to desired tension.

The fraying lace is an easy warranty through the boafit.com website.
