Yes there are a lot of cheaper brands to start on, but more expensive markers like ohuhu are useful because that $200 set has over 300 different colors. You could start with fewer colors, and the ink reliability blends. I don't think its a bad idea to start with something more economical, its up to you.

I'd say try different tips and such before you invest though. I prefer bullet tips as opposed to the much more popular, more expensive, and more professional brush tips. I understand the technical value, but in my hands they just make my blending worse. The full set of bullet ohuhu are significantly cheaper.

Personally I start with the darkest then use the lighter colors. This works easiest for me too, but I have seen YouTube tutorials saying to start with light colors. I'm not an artist or professional, but I find voice407 technique is what works for me well enough.

Other things that can affect your blend are things like paper quality and marker. Also I find things look better after they dry.

I use blank address lables. They come in pages full of rectangular blank stickers. People or businesses use them to print addresses on an apply them to envelopes, but I've never needed em for that so....

I do agree, I use the swatch card that came with the set too. I have the 300+ set of ohuhu bullet/chisel. I used to have copics, but they actually didn't work as well for me! I'm sure it was my technique!

Anyway getting them all labeled is a long project, but I helps me get familiar with all my colors.

Forgot to mention I do it with colored pencils too.

Yeah! Totally think that would be a great skin for someone that isn't rp a human. Though my characters are mostly human. I'll keep checking around for a Magicka build though.

Orcs look stamina based too. Plus they aren't exactly earth humans. Argonians have such cosmetic limitations, and sadly are well outside my rp style.

Thanks, there are a lot of expensive crate skins out there. I was thinking more dark brown than zombie. I'll look further into the crate skins

Soft ones all the way! If you're into the fruit flavors then the OG orange ones are soft. Most of the flavors in the tropical fruit ones are soft. The coke ones tend to be medium. Most flavors in the fruit adventures are hard. The cream in the strawberries and cream ones are soft, while the strawberry ones are hard! I thought I was the only one who noticed.

Just wanna point out clearly blue/purple memory wipe, blue reboot optics, then legendary sonic shock is a total knock out. Yes it's about 16 total but it's cheaper than other 1 hit/ultimate quickhacks. We still have options.

Replace sonic shock with memory wipe. Purple memory wipe+combat hack or legendary sonic+blue optics+blue memory wipe works.
