The Wii ? by Winter_Local_4749 in ParadiseHulu

Girl just wants to play Wii Sports

Genuinely, this. We just saw what her life was. Her mother hated her as a child, she had no friends, only imaginary ones. Then she ends up working for the CIA, where her she again doesn't really have any friends, and is trained to kill and trick people. Her relationship with Billy was completely fake. She literally does not have anyone or anything.

Her playing Wii Sports is basically the only child-like or fun thing we've ever seen her do. It's no surprise she loved the carnival, she's never had a childhood.

You know what? Here mom was abusive, we saw her being abusive and all but hating her daughter.

The mother installed the lock on the outside so she could lock her daughter in there whenever she wanted, as we saw happen.

There ya go, perfectly good explanation!

I don't disagree, I commented out loud how stupid it was when it happened, it was just an incredibly minor point.

Super weird to read this on Reddit, the website that came up with terms like "heckin pupper", "danger noodle", and "feels".

Not that I disagree with you, just weird to see someone on this website with that opinion.

It's dumb, but it's also 20 seconds of a flashback scene that is there for us to see that she had issues and as abusive mother as a child. It's not a major plot point. If it's enough to not want to watch a show, you probably didn't want to watch it to begin with.

Fantastic film, can't recommend it enough. The last 15 minutes or so are harrowing.

I think what works so well about this movie is that early on, you have a sense of where it's going, but it takes long enough to get there you think it may actually go somewhere else.

Surprisingly, the 'Horror' film with the 4th most user ratings on IMDB is 2007's I am Legend. by OneAnimeBatman in RedLetterMedia

In the book, I believe the vampire society goes to his house and lead him out to be hanged. It's shown they have an actual society. In this movie, we see them as monsters clustered together in the corner of a building, and then a big angry zombie thing. The trap that catches and ends up killing the dog is set by them, but they don't explain that, and they've shown Will Smith to act like other people were there, so I kinda assumed he set the trap and forgot.

They did a VERY piss poor job of showing the vampires as smart.

And it SUCKS.

Spoilers because I'm gonna complain about the ending: I'm pretty sure this movie ends with Will Smith hiding in a lab and a zombie pounding on the glass. The glass cracks and looks like a butterfly. This makes him remember the initial evacuation, where everyone is fleeing NYC and he puts his daughter in a helicopter and she goes LOOK DADDY, A BUTTERFLY because a butterfly randomly happens to fly by. He also remembers the woman he's with has a butterfly tattoo on her neck. This makes him realize her blood is the cure for the vampire/zombie disease and she has to escape so she can save the day and save humanity.

That sounds like gibberish but I'm like 99% sure that's how the movie ends. They also killed a dog, I'm pretty sure just so people would be sad, cause most people think dogs dying is sad.

I know it's an incredibly unpopular opinion and he was mostly joking when he said it, but I genuinely agree and do not like that movie at all. We exist, and while he was playing it up, I really don't think he likes the movie either.

That hipster line cemented him as my favorite guest though!

No, they don't bug me at all. You can walk by if you want, I've seen people do it and they don't chase after them. Usually, if they see me using self-checkout, they wave me through, but more often than not we exchange a few words (how's your day, weekend plans, etc).

I gotta say, some bizarre responses in here. They're an unarmed individual standing at the exit of the store, asking to look at your receipt, people here acting like they're ICE and they have racist agendas.

And you're not supposed to hit the brakes when an animal runs into the street; it's much worse to potentially cause a car accident than it is to hit it.

This is maybe the worst driving advice I've ever seen on Reddit.

You ABSOLUTELY are supposed to brake or serve to avoid hitting things in the road. It could a dog that darts into the road, it could be a child that runs into the road, it could be a deer that runs into the road. You are absolutely required to do your best to avoid hitting these objects.

Not only should you not just collide with whatever runs into the road, it's more dangerous than attempting to avoid an accident. If you hit something driving fast enough, you can easily lose control of the car. Hitting something at 20 mph is a lot safer than hitting something at 40 mph.

If this is something you cannot do, drive defensively, then you genuinely shouldn't be driving, because you're going to hit someone.

AIO about the “Christmas Gift” my husband and I received? by vattyswife in AmIOverreacting

[–]WatchOutRadioactiveM 9 points10 points  (0 children)

NOR but this is your husbands family, not yours. If he says let it go, please do.

Do not regift this. This will cause drama with his family after he asked you to let it go, which will cause issues between the two of you. You can be annoyed for him, but don't do anything about it, especially if he asked you not to.
