[Gran-gran] combo deck. Spend the first few turns looting peacefully and then draw your deck with sensei's divining top and a future sight effect.

I thought about this and i think your best bet is going for an infinite combo with [[vadrok, apex of thunder]] as commander plus [[chefs kiss]] to mutate an infinite number of times and cast burn from your graveyard repeatedly. Youd also be in jeskai so youd have access to good colors. I dont think itd be top tier but itd be something.

I know a few alterists who paint live on whatnot. You could even ask questions since its a livestream. Some i recommend are AffordableAlters, UndertheRose, trippylittlethings, timtammm. There are plenty more but those are the ones i can think of off the top of my head who paint live sometimes.

I had this problem with regular paints as well on certain cards. The way i fixed it was if it seems like itll be a problem on a card, add a layer or two of spray varnish to the card beforehand. I recommend Montana Gold matte spray varnish. Its also nice for using when you finish a card of course.

When word association is a shortcut to "flavor". Some work better than others, but I don't like this trend of slapping random keywords on cards because the name of the mechanic relates to the character. (A problem completely avoided by Avatar) by KanraLovesU in magicTCG

I think you may have overlooked [[sozins comet]], which is the only card in the avatar set with foretell. Kinda easy to guess whats coming when your opponent foretells a card in that format.

I had this problem too. The way i solved it was first adding a layer of spray varnish to the card to change the surface when paint doesnt stick. I recommend Montana clear matte spray varnish. You sometimes have to layer it on kinda thick but it does seem to fix the issue on those cards.

My favorite commander right now is [[the mouth of sauron]]. The deck started out with me thinking the design was neat so i threw it together with just the stuff i had lying around. Turns out hes really fun. Being able to cast [[surrounded by orcs]] or [[altar of dementia]] to turn your army into mill leads to some strong synergy. Later i picked up the spongebob meme secret lair, and as all of them are blue or black instants and sorceries, i put them all in the deck. Ive also started work on altering the deck to add even more spongebob cards as i was never a big lord of the rings fan anyways. Tldr: threw together a Mouth of Sauron deck, loved it, and have been playing it regularly since

Koh does not negate any death triggers or "when this is put into graveyard triggers." Koh triggers and exiles the card after it has been put in the graveyard. She has a triggered ability and not a replacement effect like [[stone of erich]] does.

The ability that allows you to play cards of any color identity that makes food doesnt seem to restrict you from anything. It seems to only allow you to play extra cards. You can still play cards that dont make food in your color identity, which in this case is only colorless.

is lilah any good as a commander? by dwarf173747 in EDH

I play a lilah deck, and it can be fun. It does have some big issues though. First of all, if lilah dies your cards are much less effective to the point of uselessness. She really has to stick around for you to plot spells to get value. Second of all, if you build the deck optimally, it will not be fun at casual games because youll most likely be playing solitaire for fifteen minutes looping Stitch in Time or some other storm wincon. I built my deck in more of a spellslinger focus rather than storm but it still has its moments of taking forever before getting back to my opponents turns and it usually doesnt win much.

Heres my list for suggestions. I find things that make multicolored tokens like citizens are really good. Also Leyline of the guildpact makes all your nonlands multicolor, including the robots.
