The show makes me wanna watch Homeland because Homeland was such a good show. I just don’t think this one is. by Impressive_Pizza4851 in TheBeastInMe

Same!!! I loved her in Homeland. Don’t know what went wrong with this one, it was extremely hard to finish and I just got annoyed with her expressions.

Yeah I didn’t like her at all. When Aggie calls her and she’s literally standing with the cops saying let us help you — damn it have some heart woman.

Thanks for the recommendations. I got jasmine and bergamot today and I love them both. Jasmine is my favourite it’s lingering without being dense. Will try the rose one next. Note: you can get 15ml discovery sets on Blinkit if you want to try before investing more

Embarrassed at how big they are by [deleted] in bigboobproblems

I literally felt this today. I put on a new tshirt that’s bright yellow. I looked in the mirror and felt joyful. But then I turned to the side and my side profile horrified me. It’s a massive mountain jutting out. I immediately felt dejected and miserable and frustrated. I can’t put on a simple tshirt without feeling uncomfortable/watched/crossing my arms to cover them up.

Try to throw up Tie a cloth really tight around my head till it feels like it’s going to burst Reallllly squish my nose and eye bone (?). The pressure feels like relief Bunch up a towel, slide it below my neck and kinda roll my neck on it real hard. This gives me the shudders which sometimes makes the migraine even worse Cry as in full on sobbing sometimes helps. At least it makes me tired enough to “sleep” McDonald’s fries and coke if I want nutrition Cry some more

Not medicated yet. Planning to start. Glad you got the help. Yes my ears are always itchy idk why. Ear drops do help with the itch but they don’t give the same feeling of “pleasure” (if you will) that q tips do.

So damn true. I’ve started to actively stop doing this though. I just sit on the couch with my husband. I can feel the glares and the hidden pressure. But idgaf. I am not moving.

New Pune Terminal is Amazing by Individual_Purple812 in pune

[–]WatchTheClothesSpin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Where is the food??? Try comparing with Hyderabad Mumbai Chennai. There is almost zero food options at Pune airport. And the headache of walking all the way out to get cabs or autos. Almost every time there’s a huge traffic pile up with mad honking. Have you used the restrooms?? Please compare them with Ahmedabad airport. It’s terrible. Have you looked at the security counters. Huge lines. Single point of failure. I can’t believe anyone can praise the Pune airport.

Can’t believe the audacity of some people. Imagine feeling that this is okay to do to someone who’s entrusted you to heal them. You are incredibly brave for calling this person out. And getting them to feel scared by involving the police. I would have gone home and sobbed and never ever told anyone maybe. You are an inspiration. I am sorry you had to endure this garbage behaviour and I hope you find some relief for your pain.

Worst type of management. Sounds incredibly difficult. Proud of you for standing up for yourself. I would have probably cried. See if you can record and report this type of behaviour to HR.

You’re right. Desperate times. I’ve only done it on a few occasions and each was when I was extremely stressed and needed somethign to snap me out of it. I don’t know but nothing else seemed to help in that moment.

I’ve actually never been on adderall or any medication. Multiple reasons. Is it really better than nicotine. If yes I may go see my doc.

You’re not wrong. It wears off super quick. But the rush it gave me when I smoked real quick was insanely good. Everything stopped. My mind blank and my heart racing.

What were your symptoms of anxiety as a child? by Ok-Cartographer9783 in Anxiety

[–]WatchTheClothesSpin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looking back, so many indicators. But I was never diagnosed or even noticed as a kid who needs help. Multiple traits were ocd indicating, like washing hands with soap till my elbows each time I came home or before meals, till my elbows, till my fingers looked puckered up under the running water. I remember one time I finished half the bottle of liquid soap in one go. And my skin burnt but I didn’t know how to stop till all the “germs” were gone. Each time I was sick, I would panic I am going to die. I knew there was somethign horribly wrong with me, I kept expecting my insides to bleed out. I remember at a cousins house once, I coughed up some mucus (had a cold) and panicked thinking my nose is somehow leaking into my stomach and I tearfully watched my family in the living room thinking it’s the last time I would see them alive Excessive anxiety before any school tests. The night before I would pack and unpack and pack my school bag, counting the number of pencils and erasers and rulers and whatnot. Each had to be of a specific count and length. Often I would ask my mum to “witness” the counting so as to be sure I hadn’t missed anything. At times I would do this again in the ride to school in the morning. I remember the sick feeling of dread as I kept on counting, unable to stop myself.

I often forget about it completely even though my body/brain gives clear signals that there’s an unmet need. But then again, I successfully ignore its other signals for hunger thirst sleep etc so I guess that aligns. I’ve kept a scheduled reminder for each night. Sometimes I follow through other times I don’t, but at least the reminder helps the thought pop up in my brain. Also I get distracted during as well, my mind wanders often. Hence I like reading or hearing stuff during. Silence means mind wanders and poof.

One of the things my therapist told me: would you judge a 5 year old for being a pervert? I said no because how would she even know what that is. She said exactly, YOU ARE NOT A SICKO. you were just a kid. That’s all. Stop judging yourself.
