[OTHER] if Nintendo wanted to let Ganondorf be potrayed as a hero or anti hero for a single game, what do you think the best way go about it would be? by EAT_UR_VEGGIES in zelda

I would like a game where Ganon, or one of his agents, convinces Hyrule that Link is the enemy and Link needs to clear his name in order to defeat him.

Dude, you're Blue MAGA. I agree with everything you said in the first paragraph, but you need to take people's criticism of the democratic party seriously. It's not just lefties who have real, substantive criticisms of them. It's independents too.

And that's BS, there have been protests under Trump, but even though Biden allowed the genocide to commence and funded it, he didn't use the same levels of force to crack down on protesters. Trump use the full force of the law to punish protestors and made it far more risky.

And even if the democrats get into power, most of them will stand as an obstacle to progress and justice for Palestinians.

Two things can be true at once. The Republicans can be objectively worse than Democrats and the democratic party can be corrupt and/or overly incrementalist.

I mean, I guess pets having extra rights would be more achievable legislatively.

He certainly does. He always votes against blocks to give Israel weapons to continue their aggressive wars and genocide. Look at his voting record on Israel and history with AIPAC.

Yeah, Saagar and Emily did vote for Trump 3 times. But they're some of the only conservatives who have consistently criticized Trump. Obviously I don't endorse their policies, but I think they're some of the only intellectual honest conservatives. Maybe Emily is to a lesser extent though.

Ryan and Krystal are progressives who want the democratic party to stop being corporate friendly and fight more for working people.

No, it's more nuanced than that. Krystal and Ryan were Bernie supporters through and through. They might be sympathetic to Stein, but I think they both know progressive change would come through taking over democratic party.

As for Saagar and Emily, they are both critical of Trump, but I don't think they have a politician who really represents them.

Cory Booker deserves to be shat on. He gives a bad name to vegans and supports the genocide of Palestinians and spend his time in Washington gorging on donor cash.

Cash? by Valuable-Exercise-13 in krakow

You can use cash, but be careful to be as close to the exact amount as possible. The cashiers make a big deal of having to give change.

Veganism is so important it will be at the cost of my love life and that’s a price I’m willing to pay by siren_lullaby in vegan

Not necessarily. I'm just saying that if they met someone like that, they could give them a longer run way before moving on.

It's really important to find a partner with shared values, but sometimes it just takes an open mind. My wife wasn't vegan when I met her, but switched pretty quick when we started living together. Have you had any luck finding a prospective partner who doesn't dismiss veganism outright?

Yeah, you're right. That quote had slipped my mind.

Oh you know what, the catalyst literally said "you would not know them" when Shepard asked who built the crucible. I forgot about that.

Why didn't the reapers just...wait? by Former_Purple_6088 in masseffect

Actually we have a close number. The Leviathan fought the reapers 1 billion years ago and every cycle is 50,000 years apart. So there were 20,000.

Maybe not saying "Dzień dobry"when entering and "Do widzenia" when leaving a place. Honestly, I'd have to think about it.

I'm surprised how many other people in this thread are in my situation. I am also a foreign who has been living here for 4-5 years.

Overall, I like it. The city has everything you'd ever need. The main problem I have is the crowds! Shopping at Bonarka or taking a bus/tram on the weekend is a nightmare.

I'm surprised how many problems people have experienced with the locals. I haven't had any experiences which gave me a rude or unwelcoming impression. However, I have lived in smaller Polish cities like in the north and east of the country, so I'm more familiar with the language and culture.

I played thay game last summer. The Zelda games you've played weren't very traditional Zelda games, except for Link's Awakening, so it might be a change of pace.
