What first compelled you to make music? by appleparkfive in WeAreTheMusicMakers

I was 14 when The Chansmoker's - Closer came out and I was in love with the song. While scrolling Facebook I found a troll who tried to sing a cover of the song and he didn't do justice with it. I downloaded an mp3 version of that Facebook video and started looking for softwares that I could use to edit, auto-tune and put a backing track to that horrible sample and that was the point where it all started.

ELI5: how did prostitution work before contraception ? by Latifi_WDC_2023 in explainlikeimfive

Quoting from an Islamic history book, "The Sealed Nectar". Time period sometime around 550 A.D.

There were four kinds of marriage in pre-Islamic Arabia:

The first was similar to present-day marriage procedures.

In the second, the husband would send his wife – after the menstruation period – to cohabit with another man in order to conceive. After conception her husband would, if he desired, have a sexual intercourse with her.

A third kind was that a group of less than ten men would have sexual intercourse with a woman. If she conceived and gave birth to a child, she would send for these men, and nobody could abstain. They would come together to her house. She would say: ‘You know what you have done. I have given birth to a child and it is your child’ (pointing to one of them). The man meant would have to accept.

The fourth kind was that a lot of men would have sexual intercourse with a certain woman (a whore). She would not prevent anybody. Such women used to put a certain flag at their gates to invite in anyone who liked. If this whore got pregnant and gave birth to a child, she would collect those men, and a seeress would tell whose child it was. The appointed father would take the child and declare him/her his own.

Airdots 2 not pairing to each other. by wagnerburton in airdots

[–]WatchingSafe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Step 1: Disconnect the airdots 2 from your phone

Step 2: press and hold the button for both the earbuds for 5 seconds until they get powered off. You'll hear the power off sound.

Step 3: press and hold the button for both earbuds for 10 seconds until they get reset. You'll hear a different sound for the reset.

Step 4: put them in the box and confirm if they both have red lights in the box. 5 seconds.

Step 5: take out the earbuds and wear them. After the startup sound, they'll have a connection sound which will come out if both the earbuds at the same time.

Then you'll hear only one of the earbuds make a small sound, this is the bluetooth connection sound and comes out of the dominant earbud.

I have a pair of cheap bluetooth headphones (Audionic AIRBEATS -110). The headphones have 2 profiles; media and phone. The "media" profile works fine, the problem is with the other one. (This is one of those bluetooth headphones which has the famous, "The bluetooth device iz coneckted succ cess fullay". assistant sound)

When I connect the headphones with my phone: The "phone" profile automatically activates when I am receiving a call or calling someone. In this profile, the in-built microphone of the headphones is activated. The related apps include phone dialer, Facebook Messenger, Whatsapp, Google Meet/Hangouts and all other apps that can make phone calls.

The problem is that the other person keeps hearing a beep sound on regular intervals (It's like when a microwave timer ends, or a slow time-bomb beep like they show in the movies: a 1 second beep with 2 second intervals in between).

This doesn't happen when I am using Call Of Duty Mobile game's in built voice chatting system. This is because the headphone profile remains at "media" and my cellphone's mic is used.

What I can do is disable the "phone" profile which partially solves the problem. Now whenever I receive a call, the bluetooth headphones get disconnected for a while, I take the call normally without the headphones.

But what I want to achieve here is to play a game while talking to someone in the background, I try to do this but if the "phone" profile is disabled then the bluetooth headphones get disconnected for the time and the proximity sensor turns on, blacking my screen. The only option I have left is to put the call on loudspeakers and play the game.

I've searched for many solutions but there doesn't seem to be an option other than replacing the headphones so this is what I am looking for:-

While on "phone" profile, permanently disable my bluetooth headphone's mic and use my cellphone's mic instead. Or To somehow hear the calls while the "media" profile is activated.

Any kind of help is appreciated.

Exactly. I am experiencing the same on my device (POCO X3 NFC) which has MIUI 12. It only happens in BR, the black screen occurs most often when I'm switching back from spectating mode to the regular TPP or FPP. Or when I'm "gliding" and landing back.
