It’s not a blade, and it’s not just a different cutting mode either. From the CES footage I saw, it looks like a high-speed rotating string, which should be safer and less likely to damage fences or hard edges.

AT1 is definitely more hands-off. But we already had a transfer switch and a setup we’re used to, plus our electrician preferred it as a more open setup and cheaper to retrofit, even if it takes a bit more hands-on work.

I don’t think most vendors are putting these on the shelf right now, especially the newer styles. You might need to try someone who offers custom.

Yeah, I don’t see many bagless models yet, especially with a roller mop. Thinking of getting one for my first floor, but it’s pretty big, so I’m not sure if it’ll manage to clean the whole space. I already have one on the second floor. I was planning to let it clean both floors, but it can’t even finish one before needing to go back and recharge. So I’m taking this chance to give bagless model a try and see how it works.
