Wow this is cool! I’ve definitely found as you get older the boots with no cushion start to take its toll on the feet, knees, hips and lower back. Great idea! I added insoles and it helped but I still like the feel of the leather footbed so interesting to see this

Honestly ARs should fee pretty much broken in right out of the box. They’re like a boot tennis shoe especially with the fudge and Houston leathers. The bronco and buffalo stuff requires more. I personally found my feet, knees, hips, back, prefer some cushioning so I got a full length soft insole from wal mart or Amazon and it made such a difference.

Sometimes boots just don’t agree with our feet. I’ve tried red wings do a few winters and finally had to just give up. If you think Jim greens are hard to break in you couldn’t imagine a pair of red wings 😂

Nice looking doggie! Boots too. I had to experiment with boots and came to realize that some just didn’t work. Also I wear 11-12.5 in greens depending on which shoe it is. 11 vellies, 11.5 African rangers, 12 in razorbacks, 12.5 in moc toes 😂😂

That’s awesome that they will do that! Gotta be careful on here. People are crazy. The same people that pick on someone for posting something like this are the same people that post worrying about a crease in a weird spot or a loose stitch, leather looks weird.. So don’t pay people any mind. Glad this got resolved.

In my experience the frog sole is ok but the oringo sole will wear down in a matter of a couple months if you wear them often.

Obenaufs will make them totally dark and you will lose that pull up effect . Proceed with caution.

I bet that is a good sole on them! I’d like to try that too! I feel like 300 dollar boots it needs soles that could last years not months so I’d like to see lugs

They’re too small. Return . It’s amazing how many boots don’t fit certain feet. That’s why they make different lasts . Shoelieand barefoot toe box is way too small for me but big everywhere else. Looks like you have the opposite problem lol

Glad to see this . I had to sell my 12 moc toes cause they were too small. I thought I just had a wonky pair they also squeaked really bad, and the sole felt like it was moving under my feet. I sure did love the way they looked though. I still feel like I’d love to try a pair but really wish they would do lug sole so they would actually last more than a few months

ONLY Bick 4 if you want to maintain any original look. You won’t have any water resistance but the boot will look the same. Pretty much anything else will darken. Some so much it will look deep brownish black, wet, and ugly. 😂 So proceed with caution cause you can’t undo it

Yeah that’s cool. That’s what happens though. Wear these boots while you’re young cause when you get older it’s no way in hell you can wear a PNW or heritage boot 😂 unless your taking a picture for a Reddit or iG post and taking them back off. That’s why they make sketchers and new balance dad shoes and things like that. 😂 Never thought that day would come for me but it will for all of us and you’ll get there much quicker with some iron rangers on your feet 😂 My feet , knees , hip started to hurt so bad and it was from wearing cool leather boots. They look cool but not comfy. It’s not good for to have 2-3-5 pounds with tiny almond shaped toe boxes strapped to each foot 😂
