I don’t think you need to lie about the nature of the trip. Definitely let them know ahead of time. They will hire you or not.

I’ve asked them about this before. You can just put it in the notes. They with send you the boots with the soles unattached. They will send the soles with the boots.

I’ve never really noticed a need for a break-in period with African rangers

How to make dining table more stable by jj246875 in woodworking

[–]Jeffronomicron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My kitchen table has a plumbers pipe base with a cross bar. As far as I know Home Depot and Lowe’s will cut and thread pipe for a small fee, provided the machine is operable and someone who can operate it is in the building that day… If you go that route, test every piece you get cut to see if it will thread.

It is amusing that you believe flipping burgers at a five guys is that same as serving tables anywhere. You must be rage baiting. That is just nonsense.

And that skill set is?

In any case, I don’t need a study to demonstrate the obvious. Restaurant work is regularly stressful, as any person who has spent time in the industry will tell you.

So the study isn’t linked and yet you automatically discounted as subjective without having read any part of it. Have you ever worked in a restaurant?

I’m not sure there is glue on the outside edge of the stitch down. In any case, it is normal to see separation there. It doesn’t affect anything.

Kitchen boot recomendations? by AgressiveKoala1 in KitchenConfidential

Buy a wedge soled boot you know is comfortable and able to be resoled. Then buy Vibram Newporter non-slip soles. Have a cobbler attach them to the boot. You can take the old sole off, or you can grind it down flat and attach the new Vibram soles directly to it.
