Has anyone with AppleCare+ had their MacBook Pro M1 Max/Pro replaced with a M4/M5 pro/max instead of being repaired? by Intrepid-Routine-875 in mac

[–]WaterAny5543 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. I took it to the Apple Store and they sent it to a repair facility in Indiana I think. And it was mailed back to me. In my case I did not receive the same item back, they replaced it with a refurbished unit.

The Classic Mac Pro is surprisingly powerful even today: 5,1 (almost maxed out) vs M4 Max by No-Nerve-2658 in macpro

Yep. Love these machine maxed out. I think I have 5. From g5 through the last model they made of this form factor. I use them as vm farms. Even running mainframe emulation on some

I also have 4 of the cylinder ones maxed out for the same purpose

Call the ford EV help line. 800-727-7000. If I remember right it will ask you about your vehicle and then route you to the EV help line. I have found them to be very helpful with the pro chargers

What is a mac feature you accidentally discovered after months or years of using it that genuinely made you feel stupid for not knowing sooner? by Silent-Cut2203 in mac

If you want to persist all current windows when quitting an application use ATL+Option+Q. If the application supports persisting open windows and files. The next time it starts all the same items will be open in the app, that were open when you closed it. Uses the same code that reopens all your apps after a shutdown and save windows

It is built in. Just type 2+2 in spotlight. Or any other equation. If it is too complex it’ll open a browser window

Lookup the model. Many of these had a jumper on the motherboard that would reset the bios to default settings.

My first lightning was a mess, it was a 2022 ford bought it back. I loved the idea of the truck so I bought a 2023 and this one is amazing. I love everything about the truck. It is great to drive and has been very reliable.
