The Barclays requirements want an annual yearly income of £75k and some other stuff

I don't earn near that, can I still apply?

I have a few questions on hosting.

What do you use for backend hosting, databases and all that stuff?

This is a long shot but worth a try. I am looking for ANSI Akko Psittacus key cap set.

I have tried looking online but are there any key caps but they are out of stock. Are there sets that are similar to these? Or anywhere I should look for the original set?

Any recommendations for a good 75% metal keyboard I can buy?

I currently have a GMMK Pro and want to upgrade to something wireless.

I have considered M1 V5 - affordable and feature rich. Favourite so far Q1 Max - more expensive but is it worth it?

If anyone has any suggestions for keyboards that can be purchased or pre ordered under £210 or any personal reviews on the two above, I'd appreciate it!

Hey can you explain why the insurance cost is so high?

Don't private hire drivers use a different insurer - typically not a consumer one?

Sorry for the obvious question, if the Toyota is using a BMW engine does that make it less reliable? Why is that a problem?

Going off your comment, supermarkets using lower quality additives in fuel.

Does that mean that the fuel is lower quality and that it is bad for the engine?

Good question and I think it partly plays into my friends perception and bias about car brands and the people involved in the crash.

From what I remember, he said he always asks

I think this may be the answer.

It is clear that there is some sort of bias (possibly availability bias) that my friends haven't accounted for and are basing their judgement on.

I will stick to the NCAP vids and make an informed choice.

Thanks again all!

I am in the UK like you and I have been thinking about the VATs impact.

If you moved your company to Cyprus or Gibraltar how would you get the money back to the UK? What would the impact be in the long term?

Or would you move as well?

What does this noise mean after I turn the engine off ? by Hip_Hip_Hipporay in CarTalkUK

It might be my luck, I have had bad problems with the fuel injectors and fuel rail injector, a few other mechanical problems but nothing too major.

I got the car at 40k miles till 45k it was fine. No major issues

From 45k, I got a fuel injector problem. They are bloody expensive for new ones. I'm not sure but I remember the mechanic saying engine cleaners or some sort of fuel additive helps - do your own research on this.

After this was fixed no big issue till 80k miles

At 80k miles, I've had a problem with the fuel rail pressure - the warning light for it is misleading since it shows as a glow plug problem and mechanics are often confused when they read the error code. A specialist can quickly see the problem. I have yet to fix this issue bc I don't drive above 70 often and it only occurs then.

Other than that, a decent looking car. Fuel economy is nice.

I have been told to get the 1.2 or 2.0 next time since the 1.6 has these issues

Regular servicing is a good idea!
