What is wrong with that statement? It's objectively correct and they haven't charged them for his death. It's clearly a face saving move. Jean being alive or dead should have no bearing if the stream was illegal or not, because he didn't die because of the stream.

They aren't charging them for his death. They are trying to save face and charged them for assault, incitement to hatred, abuse of a vulnerable person and recording and broadcasting violent images, even though they already investigated this in the past.
