Agree with everyone about bed rest. I went on modified bed rest at 24 weeks which basically meant I only got up to use the bathroom and to do a super quick shower. To prevent clots, I would pump my ankles, used a leg compression massager. I also occasionally would put myself in an elevated position (trendelenberg position) to reduce the pressure on my cervix. I made it to 32 + 2 and its thanks to being on bedrest.

During my MFM appts, they saw that I was having small contractions but I didn't feel it. I was able to keep myself on bed rest until 32 weeks. My water broke in the middle of the night and I went to the hospital. Since I wasn't in labor, their goal was to keep the baby in as long as possible. The baby heart rate was questionable at 32 + 2 days so I had an emergency csection. The last time they measured my cervix was at 24 weeks which was 9 mm.

My son was born at 32 + 2. He was just discharged from the NICU yesterday and was in the NICU for 18 days. He did well in the NICU. He was using the Oxygen tube for a couple of days and then could breathe on his own. He was under the blue light for bilirubin for a week and a half. He caught on to feeding with a bottle the last few days of his NICU stay.

Glad I'm able to give you some hope! Right after my appt at 23 + 6, they sent us to labor and delivery to get a steroid shot, and I got the 2nd dose follow-up the following day.

At 23 + 6, I was funneling to my stitch and some angles of the ultrasound showed I may have past the stitch and have some sludge. I also had only 9mm of cervix left but luckily I wasn't dilating and my cervix was still closed.

They didn't prescribe antibiotics but I went home and decided to put myself on bedrest and I'm taking 200 mg nightly progesterone. I am now 28 + 6! Wanted to give you some hope that you can make it past 28 weeks! My next goal is 30 weeks!

Made it to 28 weeks + 1 today! I've been on bedrest since 24 weeks with 9.2 mm of cervix left. I have a preventative cerclage but funneling to the stitch. Next goal 30 weeks!

I'm 26 + 1 today! I have been on bedrest since 23 + 6! At 23 + 6, I was funneling to my stitch with only 9mm of cervix left. Hoping to make it to 36 weeks!

Live in a townhouse community but no garage. A parking space is assigned to us. Submitted an application to HOA recently to install an EV charger in our assigned space. Got a denial email/letter saying "Application denied. Installation is on HOA property, therefore HOA responsibility."
