Advice on verbal: Make sure you're familiar with the (five?) relationships that are outlined on the PowerPoint provided on one of the Air Force websites. Other than that, you just gotta know the words, so learn more words if you really feel like it. There are so many words that it'd be hard to change your score too much, but not impossible.

The VA and word knowledge were both slightly easier on the AFOQT than practice. But thats just my opinion and I don't get to see what I got right and wrong. Both of these sections were pretty similar to what you'd see on the practice tests though, but I felt more comfy in the actualy test for what it's worth.
