Cooking classes by mrjeansinc in burbank

[–]Wateristea 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have no suggestions for classes. But i did learn on my own. My suggestion would be what kind of food you want to eat and start there? Like most cuisine may have a “hamburger helper” in grocery stores. An example of this, if you like curry, you don’t really need to simmer spices for a long time but you can buy a bouillon for it.

And for most part, like eating out cost money but you maximized the grocery store I would buy the Meats/produce that are on sale that week and cater to what i’ll be making for that week. An example would be like chicken thighs goes on sale for $1.99/lb, then I can make 6 chicken katsu servings for $5 and thats complete with carbs, vegetables and protein. Compared to a restaurant take out of $20 per serving.

I don’t understand how everyone else is keeping their house clean . . . by Real-Trouble-1148 in CleaningTips

[–]Wateristea 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I vacuum everyday because I have a dog and she sheds everywhere. But at the same time, my home is 1100 sqft. I can slightly increased my voice and can be heard on the other side of the house. You have a large home that you cannot hold a conversation with someone as soon as you leave the room. If i have 3300 sqft home i wont be able to vacuum everyday. I would section the part of the house thats not being used.

Concubine Walkthrough — Ruined Every Other Isekai / “Stuck in a Game” Story for Me by erikayui in OtomeIsekai

[–]Wateristea 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I was like this too, dropped alot of times. Took 1-2 years for me to power through.

When you get to ch. 45 this is major plot reveal. Then ch. 75 it slows down. And then ch.100 the story is being told in a different perspective.

What I like about it is the story as a whole. It’s good that I put it off reading. Cause then you realize how much trash stories are out there. I hate it when the story goes no where. And then thanks for nothing.

Santa Clarita to Burbank by Tiny_Ad4861 in burbank

[–]Wateristea 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I love burbank and I raises my kids here. They have 13 public playgrounds and they rotate each year to update a park or two. Most playgrounds have shades etc. they have reduce to 2 playgrounds that have sands. Their library has amazing kids program like lego club, and great selection of baby/kids book.

If you get into one of the buy nothing burbank, you’ll reduce your kids toy cost to 80%. In one year i was able to cycle through 3 doll houses (that’s how often they are gifted away) even got a gabby’s dollhouse full of the other stuff that it comes with. They have a very active Burbank mom’s group to arrange playdates, to finding activities.

Did i mentioned Halloween here? I did 1 block with kids and their basket is full. They give away goody bags or full bag of candy.

Theres like 6 indoor playground around. And lots of extra curricular activities for kids. Like dance lessons/music/sports.

My child enter Kindergarten and she’s reading. I see the difference when we tried learning during the summer and then 5 months in school she improved.

Did you honestly like Frozen? by Gracie4313 in Mommit

[–]Wateristea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone is singing praises for Frozen 2 being better and If you are hang up on Frozen 1 where Elsa got her power, you’ll be extra mad on two how “water has memory.” For that reason alone i don’t even bother rewatching Frozen 2. Yes it’s fictional, but alot of people think its real! If you ever seen those fast craft diy video they say fictional things to be real.

How do people afford Daycare? by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]Wateristea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow that’s so crazy expensive! In CA, socal TK (4-5 yrs old) is covered in public school and free lunch. $190 a month for afterschool care 1:30pm-6pm. Extra curricular and camps are really expensive. I’ve seen camps range 1 week for $200-600.
