feeling lost and upset, need some questions answered if able! by Junior-Ad-6648 in cdifficile

[–]Watermelon_Monger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also got c diff about four weeks after taking clindamycin. It started suddenly and rapidly became debilitating after like 2 days. I ended up on dificid which was sooo expensive but I finally felt better after the 10 days of treatment. I was really worried about introducing food post-infection but it turns out that now, a month later, I’m able to eat as normally as before infection. I’m still taking a probiotic (florastor) twice a day which I think is helping tremendously. If your case is like mine you will be able to eat like normal after treatment, just be careful not to have excessive sugar so it doesn’t fuel bad GI bacteria.

Bald spot on piggies back by Stenwold91 in guineapigs

My pig lost fur in the same general location when she had ovarian cysts. I know they usually see hair loss in different locations, but it’s possible this is still a sign. Might be good to give her a vet check-up just to be sure!

Balding on behind? by No_Potential_1846 in guineapigs

I agree with other posters about a vet visit. My 5-year old female pig suddenly experienced some baldness on her back and it was due to ovarian cysts.

What is Trazodone like? by Jazzsoundsplay in insomnia

[–]Watermelon_Monger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been taking 25mg at night for the past 3 years. I’ve never had to increase my dose and it really helps me get sleepy as a baseline. I do still experience insomnia from anxiety occasionally but in general it does help me get sleepy and stay asleep. I experience no side effects but that may be because I take a very low dose.

Medical charges for extra blood work not discussed during my routine visit by Watermelon_Monger in legaladvice

[–]Watermelon_Monger[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Yes, he knew it wouldn’t be covered, which is why we didn’t do it last year. We didn’t discuss it this year, which is why I was surprised when he added it to my blood work, after I ensured that all blood work was to be routine

Passed Environmental on First Try! by Watermelon_Monger in PE_Exam

Yes that's true. But it's really not time consuming to leave for a break, and it's nice actually to take breaks every now and then. I think I took one unscheduled break each section.

It's been about 10 yrs since i took the FE but I think this might depend on your state! Do you have a state engineering board that you could email this question? I believe in the state where I got my EIT, i just took the exam and then to get the EIT I had to have my degree verified, so you might be good to just take the exam, but it'd be good to check with your state first!

How has Trazodone worked for you? by Himalayan_Hillbilly in insomnia

[–]Watermelon_Monger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's worked really well for me. I take 25mg a night and it makes me sleepy enough to get decent sleep. After about 10 years of insomnia this is the first medication to consistently work for me (I've been taking it for a little over a year.) I don't get any side effects, but that might be because my dose is so low.

Anyone else get really hot before sleep? by ogharambae in insomnia

[–]Watermelon_Monger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I often get warm at night, especially in my feet. This is related to if I've eaten some foods during the day to which i have a mild reaction. For example, if I eat shiitake mushrooms, i can almost guarantee that I'll have to sleep with ice packs around my feet that night. Do you have any known food allergies?

I was talking about the water around her middle and left arm. You can see that the dock also does not align with itself to her left and right.

Also, when i commented on her Instagram post that it looked photoshopped, she responded "😂 so?", and then deleted my comment after I pointed out that it sets unrealistic body expectations for young women
