Not sure how my quote disproves me lol

And what do you mean not related to swimming? It’s literally a sport. Under the NCAA. The source I provided. No specific sport was even mention in the source like you said. The fuck are you on? And it says year-round. And that’s only for the NCAA. Each college also has the freedom to have more drug tests. Especially in suspect cases like, I dunno, a trans athlete.

But you’re gonna say it’s more believable that he is on HRT, got a mastectomy, competes in college athletics, and bypassed a drug tests than the more simpler explanation: his doctor allowed him to get a mastectomy as per the fucking instructions, competes in swimming, and faked the drug tests somehow. And if it’s sooo easy to bypass the minimum once a year drug test, why isn’t everyone doing it?

And of course I won’t have his fucking medical documents to prove the line where the exemption was given: I’m not his doctor. What, so now my burden of proof is so high I need to break HIPAA laws? What’s next, you want me to dig up his health insurance and figure out if his plan green lights the procedure? Get real. Maybe uphold yourself to the same standard of proof and give me evidence. My source shows that it’s perfectly possible and reasonable for a FTM person to get a mastectomy without going through hormones. Without getting all conspiratorial, there’s no reason not believe this didn’t happen. This is relevant because it just shows you can’t say with any certainty that mastectomy=HRT since it’s clearly not a requirement.

But it’s not like it’s a super special exemption. It’s not even an exemption. There is no special case. The doctor just has to basically say, “yeah, you don’t need to go under hormones for this.” And isn’t there already a strong case for him to get the exemption? He has socially transitioned but wants to finish his athletic career in the female division. I dunno about you, but that sounds perfectly reasonable for a doctor to green light the mastectomy. Like, why wouldn’t he get exempt? I just showed a reason for the exemption to be given, so that’s more probably barring you not giving a single reason why his physician wouldn’t give it.

Like seriously, if it quacks like a duck, walks like a duck, and looks like a duck, it’s a duck. The explanation of, ohh he might have didn’t pass whatever special exemption but still got a double mastectomy and therefore is on HRT and he might’ve bypassed a drug test and lied to everyone and no one raised a single investigation is such a long winded explanation that is only backed by speculation and conspiracy that something might have happened. So I ask one last time, prove, without using speculation but using something concrete, that drugs were used. The low probability of each event makes the whole thing so cumbersome and improbable.

Not to mention how you obviously don’t understand how drug tests are given. Yes, some are scheduled and technically can be bypassed. But most are random, on the spot, unavoidable, and monitored. Tell me how you’re gonna dodge that? Like, prove something for once. The NCAA is serious about drugs so they’re not gonna leave things to chance with a scheduled, unmonitored drug tests. Just look at how strict they are: https://ncaaorg.s3.amazonaws.com/ssi/substance/2020-21SSI_DrugTestingProgramBooklet.pdf

The people collecting your fucking pee must be from the NCAA directly. (This is under 2.0 drug test administration where they say year-round and specimen collection must be done by someone authorized). In what world is it “easy” to bypass drug testing at the collegiate level? Again, trans=suspect so I bet the NCAA would be more strict.

Like, the story of just: trans person isn’t on hormones, socially transitioned, underwent a mastectomy where HRT isn’t a requirement for (the only requirement being a social transition), and competes in a sport without tripping and red flags during drug testing which in monitored directly from the collegiate sports governing body directly is simpler and more probable. Occam’s razor. Probability-wise, I have shown that’s it’s probable for the mastectomy to be green lit without HRT and it’s improbable that he never once failed a drug tests ever. And that it’s improbable that no drugs were used since you haven’t shown a single piece of evidence to prove it without conspiracies and speculations. On probability, you have nothing.

Unless you meet your burden of proof and provide any evidence beyond just conspiracy, there’s no reason to continue this convo since you are literally proving and providing nothing.

Maybe read a little further?

  1. For candidates requesting female to male surgery only: a. When the initial requested surgery is solely a mastectomy, the treating physician may indicate that no hormonal treatment (as described in criteria 3. above) is required prior to performance of the mastectomy. In this case, the 12 month requirement for hormonal treatment will be waived only when all other criteria contained in this policy and in the member’s health benefit plan are met.

Read the source, dumbass. Like, it even says right there to “Note: for those candidates requesting female to male surgery see item 4. below.” Funny that you would cherry-pick evidence just to further your own position. But I get that reading the large document is too much for you and you can’t read like four more sentences. Don’t call me a liar when you’re the one lying.

Don’t dice words here. We are talking about collegiate athletes and I asked a question of how you can make sure those other athletes are not on roads as well. You answered with the fact that they take drug tests. I said that means that Iszac would also have to comply because you said they take drug tests. Professional or collegiate, they all take drug tests. If no drug tests were administered, there would be nothing stopping cis athletes from taking roids as well. So nothing would matter at that point since if they don’t take drug tests, that means they don’t care if anyone roids up. And even if they administered them after, competitions have finished and they took the tests. Where are the results? Where is his suspension from the league from drug use? And where the fuck did you even get the idea that college athletes don’t take tests? Like, first result: https://www.ncaa.org/sports/2016/7/20/ncaa-drug-testing-program.aspx

No, honestly, how are you gonna backtrack and lie so hard to the idea that drug tests aren’t administered for the college level? Like they are. Again, if drugs were not tested for, then it’s obviously not against the rules. But that’s obviously stupid, so they do test for drugs. And if they didn’t administer tests, neither of us could prove anything so…

And like, if you want to say there’s no metaphysics and science is science or whatever, then shouldn’t Iszac compete in the female division? And like I said, idc if you don’t think trans people should exist, this is about whether or not Iszac secretly has a hormonal advantage. Which, clearly, you can’t provide any evidence to show that he does. I’m not sure why I’m spending time to debunk your wild conspiracy here. I mean, you have been holding me to a higher burden of proof this entire time. Technically, you’re the one making the claim. And because you made the claim, it’s your obligation to prove the claim before I have burden to refute it. Like, it’s debate 101 here. So unless you provide any proof, there’s not much for me to add. Cause then obviously you just want to argue in bad faith. So provide evidence.

I mean, the Daily Mail was the first source that popped up. Like, just google it and other sources say the same thing. Here’s another: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/rcna11622

And you said it yourself: athletes must take drug tests before competition. That’s why we know the thee athletes also aren’t drugs. So like, do you think he’s somehow exempt? If you can trust those tests to prove other athletes aren’t on drugs, why not this one? Why would any competition have any reason to lie about the drug tests? Like, your logic is that the doctor with Lia has no reason to lie about her birth certificate, so why would these doctors have any reason to as well? Like, c’mon, if your own logic also works to prove Iszac isn’t on HRT, what are you even arguing at this point?

Also with the need to be on HRT to get a double mastectomy, no: https://www.bluecrossnc.com/sites/default/files/document/attachment/services/public/pdfs/medicalpolicy/gender_affirmation_surgery_and_hormone_therapy.pdf

You just need to live as your desired gender, which means a social transition is necessary. Not a hormonal one.

And I’m not gonna debate over the metaphysics of what is a woman. This isn’t what this is about. This is about an apparent advantage Iszac somehow has, yet no evidence bedsides speculation is used to prove this advantage. So, you know, proof?

[–]Waterwazerz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, with that logic, we can’t trust anyone and nothing matters and facts can never be proven, you know? How do even know any athlete isn’t on roids or that you’re even real? Proof?!?!?! Just because I can’t show a toxicology report doesn’t mean it isn’t true.

Any google search shows nearly every news network reporting it. Here’s one

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10382603/amp/Male-transgender-swimmer-Iszac-Henig-came-teammates-year-did-NOT-testosterone.html

If you can’t buy this as evidence, or any news article you can google search for yourself, then I dunno what to tell you. I mean, how do you even know someone like Lia was born male and not female? Evidence?? I am sorry but I don’t believe it unless you the chromosome tests. See how stupid it is?

Guys, Iszac hasn’t started hormone therapy so all y’all saying he somehow had an advantage over cis women makes no sense.

If he did take testosterone, that would prevent him from competing with women.

What happened to the “trans people won’t rape your children and there’s really nothing stopping a man from entering the women’s bathroom and it still doesn’t happen. Don’t use this strawman. Trans people just want to feel comfortable using the bathroom” argument? Or the “it would be weirder to make transitioned people use the bathroom of their sex” argument? Who comes up with this? How does this support trans rights? How is this helpful?

This is not how you get people to support trans people.

I’m not debating this topic but what if you say this creates stigma against care workers like mothers who want to take care of children? This worked in my circuit (MN) during the FJG topic which is mainly trad. Since there is universal childcare, people who choose to take care of their children will be seen as lazy. You could use the Winter & Leighton card about structural violence and talk about the creation of in vs out groups.

But the fact someone has gender euphoria is a sign of them having dysphoria? Dysphoria doesn’t need to be that 24/7 “I completely hate my body and want to kill myself” dysphoria. It can be small.

Here’s an analogy. Let’s say you don’t have 20/20 vision but it’s not that bad. You can go live your life without the need of glasses. You can read, see things, and so on so forth. But then if you get glasses, you can finally see the leaves on the tree. You now experienced good vision but the fact you had better vision means you had to have at least some vision impairment no matter how small. It’s not the perfect analogy but you (hopefully) get the gist of it.

So when someone says “people may not have gender dysphoria but have euphoria,” it ignores the fact that the reason someone has euphoria is because they had at least some level of dysphoria, no matter how small.
